Tomorrow is another service day
For we here in this part of the world
Sundays for Christians and
Friday are for the Muslim
These two days are the holiest
Of the days of the week

For us our religious commitment is not here
As we zoom off to the mosque on Fridays
For Jumat services and prayers
Then Sunday we rush to church
For worship and services

Quick one
And we came out of our mosques
Returning home after the church services
Then the social media is set ablaze
Of what was preach at the mosques and church

We bring out our written materials start
Bombarding the social media space
With this stuffs and that stuffs
Everyone turns to become social media
Clergy men and women in their feeds

Quick one
Long we've forgotten the message
Behind the whole preaching
By the imam and the pastor
Instead of mediating on what we've heard
To praticalize it in our daily live

But no how can we mediate and act it out
When we are busy wanting to outsmart
The next fellow in getting
More likes and comment
Which is the hallmark
Of doing it at the first place

With our Bible and jotters
Let's go with a simple and open heart
