The better for us as a nation and its existence
For us to peaceful cohabits in peaceful coexistence
Then to be chasing a long empty shadow
We’re really in for a great series of movie
As we gear up our sleeves
In preparing for another transition of power
From one administration to another
Our hopes are so geared up high at a high crescendo
As our hope has been dashed for solid four years
Without nothing to show for it
We chant for a change
That wasn’t handed over to us
And the beats of the drum of the chants go on
The clocks keep ticking and we all can hear the ticking sound afar so loud
The tension in the street is high
The famine in the land is ravaging like a mighty storm
The inflation rate so high especially on food stuff out there in the market
The low fallen standard of living keeps skyrocketing every second
The new day ushers in fear of where and who we all are going to survive the day
The bomb time keeps running out on us’
Every second a tick goes by
As fingers are cross-eyes close
In fear waiting for who’s next
To be explode on the bomb that we are seating
As a nation as the state of the nation is so bad and alarming
The earlier we realize and come to seating
On a round table of brotherhood
To discuss things as brothers and sisters
Putting religious sentiment aside
To seek a solution and cut off this wire of time bomb ticking
The better for us
This is the time to stand
As one because it takes one of us
To change the us in us all
To see from the eyes of we all are responsible
As we all are accountable for whatever happens to this great nation of ours
