GAME OVER

When it all been said and done
There is just one thing that matters
Did you do your best or live for truth
Did you live that life for Christ?
When what will be will be no more
The game is over.

Here the call to meet the giver of that life
To give an account of how it has all been
The life you’ve lived while on earth
What has it been and how has it all been
The injury time the referee will blow the whistle
Any moment then the game will be over.

Your skills ability, talents and creativity
How have you use it well or otherwise
Wait! Place a search light on your life
Reflect of how life has been all along
Remember one day, all will be called a day
How will it be the game over!

Let’s call it a day
How will you feel and react
If you are called today to come home
That all is over won’t you be scared to go home
Living without no time for God the lover of your soul
A wasted life lives in sin and pleasure.

A fulfilled life live for God and Him alone
Are you living right should you die tonight
Is it well with your soul?
Me the writer and you the reader
How is it today your life and my life?
Think on this!

Tomorrow may mean goodbye
We never know when or how
God calls us away sweet heavenly shore.
