CHANGING EDUCATION FOR THE FUTURE

Will need to invent a better way

With a good map-out plan
For the betterment of not just the now
But for the future of education
In our nation as a people
 
Will must not relent with arms folded
Watching our educational system
Goes down the drain amounting to ruin
Embarking on that journey
Of an inevitable quiet end.
 
And for this to happen
All hands and brains must be involved
All hands must be on the deck
To walk the work to emancipation
Of our educational system
 
Will must change the world
From the perspective they see education
To where will want education to stand in the future
And that future will create towards
Changing education for the future
 
What can be done differently?
From these yesteryears
Of how we’ve been doing it
Because a better future
Will must do things different
 
Beyond doing things differently
Will must also act different and see
It with the eyes of difference
To emancipate this change will seek
Then only then the change will come
 
Everyone needs to come seat

To impact and bring it all to the front burner

TIME, CHANCE AND SEASON.

Life is in phases
Each stage are meant to be that way
Is a natural thing and one shouldn't rush
Everything is planned from the creation
By the creator that created the creature

The creature you said yes
And that creature is you
You have time to bloom
That is a chance at life
Each season manifests as you take one step

And is one step at a time
When you jump a process
There abound to be problems
So follow the details
Don't run ahead of God's calendar for your life

Chance, time and season
The chance you are were
You are today does mean
The time of your announcement hasn't come yet
But if you fail to not wait for your season

You die before your maturity date
While you are still in your embryo state
Make sure you follow your time
Never be too quick or be in haste
To become known in the limelight

Are you gifted in a particular area
Does the call of God upon your life
Is manifesting little by little
And you feel and think you have to arrive
My friend you haven't because I believe there is more.

So think twice but you start manifesting
So reason well enough to be in alignment
So make sure you prepare well in the dark
Before you start sharing the light out there
Everything in life is all about

Chance, time and season.

THE ROAD TO SELF-DISCOVERY

Don’t search too far
Don’t go too far into the distance land
Don’t stay up all night but just a bit
Journey as far as you can but
Make sure you don’t get lost

From the outside world
Take a look within yourself
With a long gaze as you
Stand in front of the mirror
 
Search through the wilderness
Amongst thorns and creeping silence

YOU! WHAT DO YOU CARRY?

You never know what you possess
Until you know who you are
Sometimes are relegate ourselves
Below standard because of fear
Fear of the unknown
 

The fear of the if situation
And the questions flood our mind
Begins to creped our self esteem
Then we lose it we lose the will power
To be the all we can be
 
Our moral dies down
Our esteem crushed to the ground
Smashing every little strength to get up
And carry on with the life we're made for
Until you look inward and see for yourself
 
Of the stuff you as an individual
Is made of you then only then
You know what you carry
Remember no one can make you less of you
Without not your consent
 
So get up and go discover
The real you that is inside of you
Because the day you realise this
That's breaking point for you
You are more than what you think you are

I CAN DO IT

It takes courage to act
Part of being hungry
When you’ve been defeated
It takes courage to start over again
Because the past experience
 
Past defeats
Past pain
We look back well it didn’t work out then
It probably won’t work out now
Courage is going from failure to failure
 
Without losing enthusiasm
Michael Jordan said in one of his interviews
I missed 9000 shots when I was playing basketball
At the NBA games
Does it make him a failure? No
 
He is one the greatest basketball players of all times
But he failed 9000 times
We all fail its okay
What is not okay is that when you fail
You stay down
 
Whoever stays down is a loser
And winners will fail and get up
And am telling you you’re not where
You want to be financially
And its not going to take 20 shots
 
You’re not where you want
To be in your marriage
And its not going to take 20 shots
You are not where you want to be in your personal life
You are not the person you want to be
 
For someone of you is just one shot
For someone of you is two more shot
And you have not given yourself
Enough credit to say I just need to get up
A half hour earlier

FOCUS ON YOU NOT OTHERS

I don’t know what the secret of success is
But here’s what I know what the secret of failure is
Trying to please everybody
You can be world-class
You can fit in with the world
 
You don’t get to do both
If you want to have the results
Only 5% of the population has
You’ve gotta be willing to think and behave
Like only 5% of the population
 
And if you do these kinds of things
The world will call you eccentric
This is where you got to develop the interior core
Well it doesn’t matter if people call you crazy

About what people think about you
Sounds really obvious
 
Everyone has an opinion
Why let the opinions of other people

Negative words and experiences
Or a lack of care in childhood
Defiantly make their imprint
But I’m not one of those who believe
That we are irrevocably shape by our past

What’s past cannot be changed
But the present and the future
Are ours to do with as we like
As someone once said
It’s never too late to have a happy childhood

To me that means
I can decide today
To shape my life
With positive input
Rather than negative

At every moment
I can give myself permission
To feel good instead of lousy
No matter what the circumstances
What do you like about yourself?

Building self worth
Through positive experience
Is easy once you decided to make
It a priority start by being nice to yourself

But we need to remember
That self-worth is not arrogance
It’s simply recognizing our value
As human beings and giving credit
When credit is due

BEFORE NIGHT FALLS

The darkness is coming
Today has come and gone
Day is fast spent
Dusk is approaching
As creation morn 

Is about to suffice
Before night falls

Like the old adage says
Is good to look for a black goat
While it is day time
That applies to everyone

This is the best to work the walk
To finishline irrespective of
Where you are now at this moment
The clock keeps ticking 

Forward never backward

You just got only one life
Just as you got 24 hours each day
While not make such a life count
While you still have the 24 hours

You’re present and the future
As your past will speak volume in your today
To build the future you want to live in

Wait! A quick question
What kind of future do you seek for yourself
See is not the time to build castle in the air
Or wish…wish can of dream in your big skull
But this is a call to action and attention

When the body that your tinny legs
Will be so too weak to carry your body
Eyes becoming dim with partial memory loss

DON’T LET YOURSELF STAGNATE

Think about water in a backyard pond
When you first put water in a pond
It’s healthy and vibrant
It’ll support fish and plant life

But if you keep the same old water
In the pond week after week
Pretty soon it gets stagnant
The fish and plant life in the pond
Become poisoned 

With waste and eventually die

For the pond to support life
You have to recirculate the water
Or better yet add new water frequently
When you do that the fish and plants
Will thrive for a long time

Like a pond each of us has a certain
Amount of mental, emotional and physical water
Meaning our thoughts, our actions 

Our history and so on at any given time
That water does a pretty good job

Of supporting our lives at their current levels
But unless we add fresh water all the time
In the form of new experiences
New ways of thinking, new beliefs and new ideas
Then we too become stagnant

The last time you were faced 

With a new idea or a different way 

Of looking at something
How difficult did you find it to
Open up to opportunities?
All too often we get stuck in our prejudices
And old ideas because we feel they’re right

Closing yourself to opportunities
Keeps you stagnant and in today’s
Accelerated world of life and business
Stagnant means never growing or learning
As we were born to do

ONE OUT OF TEN

Graham, Templeton and Clifford
In Christian life it’s not how you start that matters
It’s how you finish
One out of ten

Billy Graham came storming out of seemingly nowhere
To fill auditorium across America
Speaking to as many as thirty thousand people a night
Graham was hired as the first full time evangelist
For Youth for Christ and his reputation is a uniquely gifted
Preacher roared across America like a prairie fire
The rest of course is history

You’ve heard of Billy Graham
But what about Chuck Templeton
Or Bron Clifford, have you ever heard of them?
Billy Graham wasn’t only young preacher in 1945
Chuck Templeton and Bron Clifford were accomplishing
The same thing and more all three young men were in their midtwenties

One seminary president after hearing Chuck Templeton preach
One evening to an audience of thousand called him
The most gifted and talented young man in America today for preaching
Templeton and Graham were friends both ministered for Youth for Christ
Both were extraordinary preachers yet in those early years
Most observers would probably have put their money on Templeton

Bron Clifford was yet another gifted twenty five year old fireball
In 1945 many believe Clifford the most gifted and powerful preacher
The church had seen in centuries…Graham, Templeton and Clifford
All three came shooting out of the starting blocks like rockets
You’ve heard of Billy Graham so how come you’ve never heard
Of Chuck Templeton or Bron Clifford? Especially when they came out in ‘45

Just five years later
Templeton left the ministry to pursue a career
As a radio and television commentator and news paper columnist
He had decided he was no longer a believer in Christ
In the orthodox sense of the term

What about Clifford? By 1954 Clifford has lost
His family his ministry and his health…and then his life
Alcohol and financial irresponsibility had done him in
He wound up leaving his wife and their two Down’s syndrome children
At just thirty five years of age, this once great preacher died from
Cirrhosis of the liver in a run-down motel on the edge of Amarillo
His last job was selling used cars in the panhandle of Texas
He died as John Haggai put it “unwept, unhonored and unsung”

In 1945 three young men with extraordinary gifts
Were preaching the gospel to multiplied thousands
Across this nation within ten years only one of them was still on track for Christ
In Christian life it’s not how you start that matters it’s how you finish
One out of ten

For those of us in the ministry or about to go into ministry
Stay true to Jesus make sure that you keep your heart close to Jesus everyday
It’s a long way from here to where you’re going to
And satan in no hurry to get you over the years is been observe
That just one out of ten who start out in full time service for the Lord
At twenty one or sixty five

They’re shot down morally
They’re shot down with discouragement
They’re shot down with liberal theology
They get obsessed with making money
But for one reason or another nine out of ten fall out
In Christian life it’s not how you start that matters
It’s how you finish

LOVE YOURSELF

You can search the entire universe
And you never find a being worthy
Of been love then yourself
Love yourself

When the world gives so much
To hate about yourself
When the unfair criticisms
Shatters your emotion from inside out
Becloud your happiness and takes it away

Away from you
Gave you reasons running into zillion
Of not valuing yourself
You’re losing it all out
Be still find yourself and love yourself

Love yourself
When the world gives you hate
Don’t get mad when the world
Says nasty things about you
In their nastiness find the way to be yourself

All over the world no one looks like you
Put a smile on your face
To love yourself and value yourself
Invest your time on yourself and love yourself
Love yourself

Love yourself
Make yourself special
That when people see
They’ll see the beauty of yourself in you
Because you have found love in loving yourself

You can search the entire universe
And you never find a being worthy
Of been love then yourself

NO LONGER A SLAVE TO SOCIETY

You’ve live so long here
Birthed and groomed here
You became the street…fall in love with the street
Society got at you a close so close grip on you
Becoming liken to the society in which you live in

You want to be in everyone’s list
Just in everyone lips becoming household names
Making headlines playing the nice person to society
While long you have forgotten the kind of person you are

From dawn to dusk society helds you at ransom

Locked up in the prison of society not your real self
Within the confine of the same society you exist in
As your existence is in dedicate to such a society
You are not a free born in your land anymore where you were born
A slave to society you become

Wearing the mask of what society wants you to be
Forsaking your real self like a book that left the shelf
While long the footstep is long gone like a candle in the wind
Your real self die long ago while you took the self of society bidings
You’ve gone to that city a slave to the society you live in

A day came you see yourself in the mirror of yourself
Your mind cast back to those days when you where yourself
You’re filled with bitterness because the holds of society has ruin you
Has made you drift away from your real self the mask you wore fall
No longer slave to society

You came to the point of coming to yourself
You broke the chains of society in pieces to have your peace
You shout the shout of pain of what society has made you go through for long
You look around and found you have been held captive for long these years
No longer slave to society

Is time to break the chains and pains
Of what the society has brought on you for long
And begin to live the life you where given not what the society gives you
Break the chains and come out strong and say with boldness and courage
No longer a slave to society

TO ADAPT IS TO SURVIVE

We live in an age

Where things are happening so fast

The air space is taking a new look

And everything seems falling inside out apart

As human we must adapt to the changes around

Is either you got cut in the fluid of these change

Or you remain out there left out in this change

As the world marches on the innovation

That surpassed human reasoning and understanding

To adapt is to survive

You need to get ready for yourself

To fit in the wave is blowing so high

It will blew you off balance

That if you are not prepared for change

You got to make sure you do all what you can to survive

Because the world is moving from zero point

To that point where it all start

Great invention are discovered here and there

A lot of things are taking centre stage

The world is beginning to become a global village

As the human brain is working faster

In racing to have a faceoff with skills and talent

Birthing forth great skills and born out of great thinkers

The brain travels at crescendo beyond what it was made off

To adapt to these great invention you need to act up to survive

My friend there was saying which says

The future is tomorrow but that world has change

The future is today now we cannot seat and wait for it anymore

Tomorrow is now to adapt is to survive that is the world we live in

To move with the change coming we need to wake up

…A WORD FOR THE TERM

As the new academic calendar begins come September

As pupils get ready to return back to classroom
As teacher buckled up to take on teaching lessons
As we all get ready to get back to the class
So much is expected from both pupils, teachers and management

…For our pupils
Now is the best time to seat back and take review
Of the last academic session that just ends months back
How is it? 

Did you achieve all your goals in all subjects in the last term?
How about it, can you say you did well

…For teachers
How was your performance?
In discharging your duties to these ones
Remember the pupils are kept in your care
Of which you will give account at the close of day

For Management
How far do you go to create
A conducive atmosphere for learning and working condition
Did you say you perform up to the best in the last term?
How about that your responsibility towards your staffs and pupils

This term pupils, teachers and management of schools
Make sure you do your best in all ramifications
Will all should never look back to the last term success
Because if you do you cannot achieve something worth while
