NIGERIANS: SO LONG, TOO LONG.

There is work to be done Nigerians
We've being seating down for too long
Remember, what we were called
The giant of Africa, but are we still that?
So too Long.

Nigerians wakeup
So long too long
So long we've dwell on this part
So long we've experience political corruption
Arise from your slumber Nigerians.

There is so much work to be done
Remember our founding father
How they toiled and labour for this land
To get us where we are today
Has their labour's past not in vain.

So long too long
That will allow corruption
To eat up the proceeds
Will inherit from our father upon this our land
So long our motherland is ravaging in poverty.

I SEE CORRUPTION SMELLS.

I see corruption smells
On the streets of my country
Where the big money bags
Buys the justice system in the land
And the nation marches on deepen into starvation.

Inflation is on rising point as dawn arrives
Now going down our Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
Is losing it as one who is losing it sanity
Insanity parades the land at will
I see corruption from the common man.

Who is tired of holding up to morality
And losing it to hunger and tired of been different
As a hungry man is an angry man
And the pain goes on and on
I see corruption smells on the streets.

The streets everywhere you turn and walk into
From Lafia to Lagos you cannot contain it
From Nasarawa to Jalingo bandit over the place
From Oyo to Ogun the center cannot hold again and the list goes on and on
From the seat of power spread out to all sectors.

I see corruption smells
That Lagos has now become
Entitled to one set of tribes
Then where is the one Nigeria we loudly preach
Is no longer our Nigeria is their own Nigeria for one certain tribe.

I see corruption smells
At the corridor of power
The seat of the justice of land
Justice is no longer for all but few selected corrupted individual
I see corruption smells and has eaten to the fiber of this nation’s serenity.

I see corruption smells
When all is falling to its root foundation
And we stand still waiting for God knows when
Where our national offices staff resumes at will
And close once is not yet official time of closure.
For how long we corruption smell on the shore of our country Nigeria.
