THE REBIRTH OF A NEW NATION.

The dawn breaks with echoes of hope unseen
A people once lost now rise from within
The church stands firm a guiding light
Whispers of faith ignite the fight
A nation reborn from shadows of sin.

Voices unite in a solemn call
Chains of the past begin to fall
A sacred fire burns bright anew
With prayers as seeds in morning dew
The land awakens to purpose all.

Hands are lifted hearts renewed
The gospel spreads the truth pursued
Love and justice side by side
No more darkness no more pride
A kingdom vision long subdued.

The church a beacon bold and true
Restoring hope with light in view
No weary soul shall walk alone
For grace and mercy make us one
A nation built on faith so new.

The journey starts the work is here
A sacred task so pure so clear
With every step the future bright
The church stands firm the guiding light
The rebirth of a land so dear.

TO MY FELLOW COUNTRY MEN 'N' WOMEN.

Stay safe out there
9ja ninja is really boiling
No one knows where to go
As the nation is under unrest
To my fellow country men and women.

A lot is happening
Of which we all are seeing and feeling
The feeling of want here and there
Even we're living in the midst of so many resources
To my fellow country men and women.

Yet our leaders
Are calling for our patience
In the midst of holding on to their words
Of being patience that all we soon be fine
The economy will pick and inflation we go.

But we see this same leaders of our land
Spending the nation's treasure at will
Buying all manners of flits of cars and jet inclusive
And when the citizen air their views they come for them
Yet we all say we are a democrat state, how true is that?

My fellow country men and women
It wont be long we'll be leaving here
To the promise land our leaders promise us
But is it until death take over our land
Then who will now be the citizens that will get to the promise land.

LABOUR IN THE EYES OF THE NATION.

I wish labour could labour enough
As to not allow the labour of our fatherland
Be invain in the fight for the masses
To really put sentiment aside
And stood their ground for the common man.

I wish labour could go the distant
March the march towards
A claiming the new minimum wages
Enforced by the union of Federal government
Making it a worthy course.

Not in favour of this or that
But in favour of all the citizens
In the land of our fatherland
That our motherland we beats her chest
And be proud of labour for a job well done.

I wish labour
Could do enough
By putting self Sekfishness aside
In this battle of just beyond the minimum wages
To betterment of life of fellow citizens.

I JUST WITNESS A MURDER.

This life nothing last long
You belief you have it today
Wait for tomorrow’s dawn arrival
When it all be said and done
And nothing matters anymore.

I just witness a murder
In which several slaying was done
They slay people’s will to live at will
As if no one created such a life
Nor these slain folks did not belong to a family.

Our street are turned into mourning
As everyone is stay tuned
To see what happens next
As blood of injustice stained
The street of our beloved and unloved country.

Beloved and unloved
Many citizens of the state
Has lost the love they have for the nation
And have moved from being beloved to unloved
Unloved when life’s and property

Never matter again
To the one who seat in the seat of power
Who’s stealing on a large industrial scale
Is now the norms of the our existence
That characterize our everyday life.

I just witness murder
Where the will of the people
Was snatch right in the broad day light
As everyone look on so helpless
But posterity awaits us all in the long run.

I just witness a murder
Where truth prevail over lies
Just because the highest bidder
Get the staff of rod of justice
Our judicial system becomes a basket that cannot hold Justine tight.

GO AND TELL NIGERIANS

That Nigeria is no longer
Home to Nigerians
As so much has be clouded
The state of the nation.

Our sovereignty is gone
We've lost our voice among nations
Go and tell Nigerians
That all is not well
Even with faith we proclaim all is well.

Go and tell Nigerians
That the cost congo of garri
Back in the days of our fore fathers
Are no longer value in today's food stuff market
Things are really getting out of hand.

As hands can no longer make earns meat
As the riches of the land is left in the hands of few
As our leaders are so empty and nothing to offer
As our land is so poorish in state
As our GDP like basket that can not hold water.

OUR COUNTRY, OUR NATION

We are bound by one creed
Surrounded by one objective
Breeds on the same landscape
Our land serves us with the life we have
This is our country, our nation.

Let us live in unity
Because unity is our strength
The fiber upon which progress strive
A united nation will achieve so much
In the space of a few years.

Let us not live in fear
We are all one brother and sisters
Let us rejoice in peace with one another
We are free and bond to our country
To protect our sovereignty we must stand together as one.

So long we have held ourselves captive in our land
But this is a clarion call to one and all
This is the time to let the white dove of peace
Fly across the length and breadth of our dear nation
Our country, our nation.

Let’s live together with no discrimination
Let’s live in peace not in pieces every hour
Our leaders to secure our future development
Not to lead with an interior motive
Let’s shun hate speeches that will breed war.

NOW THAT THE DUST IS SETTLED.

Where do will go from here
And yet we still bleed
With the cuts of unfair justice
Served to us at the point
Of making such a patriotic decision.

For the land that we love
Right there in our eyes
Where intimidated and victimized
Of what ought to be a peaceful
Exercise alas turns into bloodshed

To them that seek the will
Of the power by taking it by force
Come what may if blood is shed
It leaves no human feelings on them
Yet we move on as if nothing happens.

But in the face of all these
Ill-human treatment
The wave of wace of displeasure
It is seen across the land
No one is talking about the events.

As the whole land
Was thrown into a state of mourning
To the lives that were lost
To those ones who sustain injuries
That we travel down memory lane.

Of our country
As we cannot forget that faithful day
In which the will of the masses
Was sabotaged to just a will
Of one set of fractions of people.

Now the dust is settled
You expect us all to forget
And act and move on as if nothing happen
While been in the euphoria of the said winning
Now that the dust is settled.

A NATION TO WATCH FROM AFAR.

Everyone is watching from afar
No one wants to talk about it
As fear grips all no one
Wants to air their view
On the current state of the nation.

Only just a deep sigh
As words want to come out
Each one is mindful of his or her utterance
As silence prolongs upon declaration
Of the winner but alas

Nothing beat imagination
When it suppose to be a drum
From jubilation to an outrageous jubilant
But what do we see just as if
The whole masses were thrown into national mourning.

While we quietly wait and watch
As events for the day unfolds
Yet victimization and intimidation
Continues to outplay as each one is
So scared and afraid to talk.

Standing and watching
The nation from afar off
Our nation is placed in a pause mode
We have lost the excitement
That we as citizens enjoy in our nation.

SHAPE THE DIALOGUE SET THE AGENDA

Because the nation is sick
Because the land is unrest
Because the people are not happy
Because the rivers never flow in milk and honey again
We need to have a talk that will shape the agenda

Of our nation
To rise up from her remains
So it shall never be in vain
Every hand must be on deck
To shape the dialogue and set the agenda

In shaping the dialogue
We must seek to see
Reason where everyone
Comes to the table to discuss
As brothers and sisters we are

Not anyone coming to the table
With hate in the heart
To talk down about this person or that person
Nor trying to exonerate this person above that person
Shape the dialogue set the agenda

And this time
We aren’t going to just talk
For so long on the conference table
But we are talking about immediate prompt action
As decisions won’t be taken only on the lips of the mouth

But affecting each spoken words
As each sentence is birthed into laws
That will govern the existence of our living in our nation
This is the time to shape that agenda and it starts with dialogue
Shape the dialogue set the agenda

Our nation is on the verge of losing it all
All that our founding fathers have labored for
Our motherland is so starved of emancipation
From the long old ways and methods
of those who have been leading us
Shape the dialogue and set the agenda
For a better nation we must arise.

SO, IF AM THE PRESIDENT

I we Make each promises count
Upon running for the seat
Of the number one person in the land
Delivering the mandate of my manifesto
So, if am the president

I will make sure
That the land is fit for all to live in
That all necessary facilities
Are being served and enjoyed by all
Irrespective of your attainment and level in society

There won’t be channeling
The nation’s resources
To one set of people in the society
To bring the government to the doorstep
Of everyone who’s out there

So, if am the president
I will make sure that the epileptic power supply
It will be a thing of the past
And making every heart to be at home
Void of fear of insecurity in the land

Awarding of contract
Won’t be on sentiment
But fitting the right man who can do the job
And delivery to the utmost of his or her ability
In each sector we get a shared allocation in each year's budget

Striking of workers in all federations of the state
This will cease to happen as each one is paid
As at when due is wages as the workforce
Are those who drive the survival of any nation
So, if am the president

Making sure we consume our locally made goods
To boost the immune system of our currency
And make certain investors fly in to invest
In the richness of our natural resources
Not chasing away investors

Making sure small and large scale business
Strive in the midst of the economy of this nation
By providing credit facilities and recovery loan
At a subsidy rate to these set of business
So, if am the president.

2023 RACE

As we race off towards 2023
As individuals and as a nation
This is one of the greatest strides
In our dear nation a solemn time
Because that one event

Will determine how the next
Phase of our nation will go
And this event will cut across
And touch down one every sectors
2023 race

Each one of them
Are really working tirelessly
From dusk to dawn leaving no stone untorch
A period intellectuals will be working for mediocre
All in the chase of what the stomach will feed on

Stomach infrastructure
And the nations flows on
In waiting for that solemn day
To see the one who will seat on the seat of power
To govern and run the affairs of this nation

My fellow countrymen and women0---
If will miss it by sending the wrong person
To that seat of power and that person cripple
The whole activities I bet with you all it will be funny
2023 race

Will must see
That will send in
The right person for the job
The right person who will take our nation
From the cross of burden suffering

To that point of salvation
Where will all will start living
Like the real owner of the land’
Never a stranger at home again
2023 race is a must task for everyone to run

FROM THE REPUBLIC OF CONSCIENCE

To our leaders whose
Verge from here to there
City to cities chant their manifesto
Promises yet to be brought to the limelight
In verging for a position to rule their people

Public leaders must swear
To uphold unwritten law and weep
To atone for their presumption to hold office
In utmost sincerity and honesty
From the republic of conscience

Whose still much alive and kicking
Whose heart is still much soft
Soft to the plight of the people
In which the same leaders are leading
From the republic of conscience

In whose republic
Our dear nation was birthed and born
Who’s upon the fabrics of our mother
Who’s our fatherland is built on
From the republic of conscience

What kind of leader are you
As you go around verging for political office
Are you really who you are portraying yourself to be
Will you still maintain this humility and selflessness
Upon the resumption of office if you win the election

Will your conscience still be much alive
Or half alive when the election result is announced
Where you place those who voted for you
In sun, rain and cold chilled weather
From the republic conscience

AFRICA ARISE

When are we going to wakeup
Real fast like cheetah and smell the coffin
That things aren't the way it was before
Day in day out we rely on God to do it all for us
Our nation is dying and God cannot come down

And we expect Him to do
One miracle like that
But our fate is placed right in our hands
Moses was used to setting the Egyptians
Off from the hook of their oppressors and Pharaoh

Just one man brought redemption to Israelites
Just like Bob Marley sang many years ago
That hit track Redemption Song
Likewise in our day today, we need men
Not mere men just like that song by Pita titled One Man

Africa has been a scar on the heart of the world
For so long we have watched
Our sovereignty tramped upon
Walked upon with dignity as we lost
Our say among nations of the world

Our leaders sell us out
Administration after administration
Going to beg for grants and borrowing
To enslave the unborn generation into slavery

For how long we continue in this circle
Chasing what is never lost
While we have all that can make us great
Our greed and food for the belle
Won't allow us to see these great
Treasure we have with us

The greatest problem of Africa
Is not a tsunami not an earthquake
Is never a natural disaster
But a man-made disaster
The day we realize all these
Africa, we are great again

Our problem is bad leadership
Full of themselves exhuming selfish policy
For the betterment of themselves alone
Defrauding the state resources
Left in the hands of a selected few ones

African for Africa
Africa must arise
From the shackles of this bad leadership
Of tyranny and editorship kinds
Of self-centered and selfish leadership.
