DON’T USE YOUR YOUTHFUL LIFE TO SLEEP

You are created for something bigger than this
You are looking at now life is so big
Up high there in the sky is so big
To take as many people as possible
Who dares to engrave their name and footprint
On the sands of time and history records.

But is not by doing nothing expecting
The world to give you a resounding standing-up ovation
But you must earn the mark for such an event to happen
If at all you want to attain that mark it starts with you
Right there within boiling down to one fact
How you spend the moment you have now.

For you to live in that moment
When the world comes to celebrate your success stories
Remember mediocre is not meant to be celebrated
Nor talk less about standing in front of mean men that matters
Not even coming close to seat on the table of greatness
Don’t use your youthful life to sleep.

Too much sleep breeds a whole lot of heart
Wrenching event that will hunt you
Like a hunting shadow for life
So, this is time to get up from that bed of idleness
And stop eating the bread of laziness because
Don’t use your youthful life to sleep.

While others are walking going the extra mile
Working their feet and hands to the bone
Burning the night candle from one end to the other end
Be realistic enough to chase the dream no matter what
Be the person you want to see yourself in the picture
Of history records of the world but is not done by just sleeping.

THE TRUE MEANING OF LIFE

The years have passed by
In the blink of an eye
Moments of sadness and happiness
And joy have flown by
Life still flows on some highways

The people we love
Have come and gone
But the world never stopped
And we all carried on on the road called life
The true meaning of life

We are still searching for
That one thing the is called happiness
Everyone is so busy looking for it
The young and old are not left out in the search
Of the true meaning of life

Life wasn’t easy
And the struggles were there
Filled with times that it mattered
Time I just don’t care
The true meaning of life

And now with old age
It became very clear
Things we once found important
Where not what why we were here
Life

How many things we manage to buy
Were never what made me feel better inside
And those worries and fears
That plagued me each day
Would not just fade away

But how much I reached out
To others when needed
Would be the true measure
Of how I succeeded
Life

And how much more kindness
And love I can show
Before the Lord tells me
It’s my time to go
The true meaning of life

WHEN NATURE CALLS

Be rest assured to held the call
As some calls will matter
Both now and the future
We must not allow the frivolities
Of now to whisk us away
From the path of greatness
When nature calls

You’ve labored for so long
Been on one pursuit till its works out
You keep at it come hell hot water
You brace the odds and waited on it
When nature calls

Be ready to held the call
Because you don’t know
When it we come calling again
A miss call from nature you don’t know
When nature calls again

So as each comes
Listen to yourself
Look beyond the opinion of society
Leap while others are afraid to crawl
When nature calls

Some are lucky in life
While others are unlucky in life
Luck in sense in having
More than a call from nature
While some is just one call
That will make sense
And change it all when nature calls

I adjure you to get ready
Make all things ready for opportunities
Be open for opportunities place yourself well
In strategic position for opportunities
When nature calls

Yield the call
Be on your guard always
That you don’t miss it
Charge your battery well enough
When nature calls

WHERE ARE THE LIGHT: YOUTH DAY

Our youth…our future
Our youth…our light
Our youth…our beacon of hope
Our youth…our future leaders but
Where are the lights

Have our state creates
Enough enablement for us to strive
In becoming that future our elders
Will like to see when they look down
From the grave beyond us the question

Where are the lights
The light that will light our path
Of our founding father
When their eyes becomes dim
Dim to see afar off
When they need the same youth
To be the light to light their path
In the hours of darkness

Wounded...whether
Lost faith in the government of the day
As everyone is for himself God for us all
The nation is has failed them
Making them lost faith in the government of the day

Where are the lights
The light to light up
The hope that was taken
Off from the street called hope
Has hope has been hit by an hit and run car

By the car called corruption
By the car called nepotism
By the car called favoritism
By the car called poor standard of education
By the car called ill-reform no concrete result in sight

Where are the lights
That those believe in hard work
Not taking the shortcut to greatness
Who believe not in the blame game
But the one who take responsibility of all what happens

Where are the light
That we bar the cat
And bear the touch light of glory
who we stir this nation back to hope
And shine the light in the hours of darkness

I WAS HERE

I want to leave this behind me been fulfilled
That at the end of life journey here
I never want to be record as an on looker
But I want to relentless leave behind
Some worth living for both for humanity and God

I was here
To build a healthy world
With a godly ambition to invent
Some sort that will betterment our society, nation, and the world
To show the light for generation coming

I was here
Because greatness runs in my blood
To achieve nothing but greatness
And seen each person I come across
Achieve greatness by helping them discovering their true self

I was here
Never to let go until it has been achieve
That which separate a mere being to a being of something
Moving each day to achieve and living out that purpose of living
Not retarding back irrespective of what ever betides

I was here
I choose to win…never to be let down
At the corridor of defeat neither to be down
But racing at crescendo to achieve nothing but greatness
I choose to stand for what I believe and who I am

I was here
I want to leave behind
A legacy not a mere kind of one
But a worthy and outliving legacy
Just here to be that person

You where here
It will be once said of you
And what is it that will be said of you
And what will you leave behind
I was here…You where here

WASTING AWAY!

Each day you move closer to that road
of an inevitable quite end yet you can’t
realize how close you are to that point
that day when you will see your last sunset
the day is getting so busy while you waste it

Has never comes across your mind
at the end of the day here on earth
either by death or when your creator calls you home
of what account will you give your maker
when you meet at the last lap of your journey on earth

A wasted, shattered, worn out amounting to nothing
just carried on so long wondering about
with an aimless journey from pillar to post
becoming an empty shadow within
that can  not stand erect you’ve wasted it all

Going all around with you face
of regret of indecision not making high while sunshine
alas! you scream out ha! When the last scene of your life
is been played to you, you see it for yourself
wasted life, wasted years oh how foolish

At dawn you see people waking up
rushing out to work preparing for the future
you are busy sleeping away been idle in frivolity
an aimless visitation from pillar to post
amount to nothing becoming a trouble to the society

A liability to the nation
a nobody going no where
an article of no commercial value
jerk of all trade and  master of none
good for nothing fellow see them

You see them everywhere you turn to
they never seen anything worthwhile doing
all they’ve gone with the wind
goalless, visionless, with an empty face value
wasting away…to an inevitable quite end

Wasted years oh how foolish
as you walk through this life
amounting to nothing

TO YOU OUT THERE

I challenge you
To take action right now
You’ve read about how others did it
And now is your turn
Decide this day to be the best you can be

Get up right now
Get a pencil and paper
Set down your goals
And create a personal plan of action
To get what you want out of life

Cause life will not be like this
The same way it has been
A child of yesterday
Is an adult today
Time is drifting away

To you out there
There’s no time to waste
Reach out and start early today
By starting out with what you have
Wake up from your slumber

THE YEARS OF YOUTH

Like a cheetah time is running
Racing after its prey
Days are now weeks
Weeks are turning months
Months are turning years
Years turning into decades

What are you living for?
What fires up your zeal?
What warms up your blood?
What drives your life?
What’s your core value?

Purse your purpose passionately
Don’t waste the years of your youth
Time is a trickster
You can scarcely suspect
It races off rapidly at 1900

Yet you think thoughtlessly
That is moving slowly
Activate your dreams daily
By spending your time wisely

Maximize every given moment
Cause you have only 24 hours
So you do not regret of indecision in the future
The world awaits you
You can’t afford to fail
Your generation
If you do they won’t forgive you

If you’re out there
The future started yesterday
And today we’re already late
Move why the door is open
There’s no time to waste
You must arise
Now is the time make the best use of the youthful years
