FIXING THE POLICY AND REFORMS.
As we go again towards another democracy day
The tinted question that many are shying away from
Is are we really democrat in all our dealings
From the policy that governs the affairs of our nation
To the laws and regulation rolled out every now and then.
Do the masses really matters at all
What are the people saying?
Do they even have the fair hearing?
How about their constitutional right of freedom of speech
Are they not living in fear of speaking their mind?
Every now and then each administration
Comes into office rolling out this reform and that reform
But the reform never leave the environment of ink and paper
It dies down there and yet nothing is working
Our policy isn’t working at all not in favour of the masses.
As a nation will need good policy
That will go round to favour everyone
Not just a policy in favour of the rule or ruling party
But to the citizens of the state and the nation at large
Only then will can have a nation that is working.
Fixing the policy and reforms
Before the policy must work well to its effects
There must be a followed tailored policy
Towards a working policy and reforms
If our nation will truly live out to its name a working nation.
A NATION IS DYING.
Each day
Each moment
Each Election Day exercises
From one Democracy day and independent day celebration
Our nation is getting worse than ever before.
Things are getting out of hand day by day
A nation is dying and yet will say we are making progress
But to what end is this kind of progress
Are will talking about here.
Is a progress twitted towards
The insurgency in our land of all manner of sort
For the insecurity in our land to the unknown gun men
While we all know this gun men occupying our land
But wait don’t will all say we are a sovereign state.
If truly we are what we call ourselves sovereign state
Then while will strangers of unknown gun men and banditry
Terrorizing our nation and will do less to nothing about it
Yet will go on and start saying we are when we are not as a nation.
And as a people who don’t know what will are saying
Our home is no longer home
Will have become strangers in our homeland
A nation is dying yet will say we are living
Living amidst a dead system of government.

THE REBIRTH OF A NEW NATION.
The dawn breaks with echoes of hope unseen
A people once lost now rise from within
The church stands firm a guiding light
Whispers of faith ignite the fight
A nation reborn from shadows of sin.
Chains of the past begin to fall
A sacred fire burns bright anew
With prayers as seeds in morning dew
The land awakens to purpose all.
The gospel spreads the truth pursued
Love and justice side by side
No more darkness no more pride
A kingdom vision long subdued.
Restoring hope with light in view
No weary soul shall walk alone
For grace and mercy make us one
A nation built on faith so new.
A sacred task so pure so clear
With every step the future bright
The church stands firm the guiding light
The rebirth of a land so dear.

THE STREET CALLS.
Hear the call
See the need
Feel the pain
Look at your land
The cities are not wearing a good look.
The street calls
There is a clarion call
That swifts across our land
The state of the nation is on the news
The call is for nation builders.
Who are sick and tired
Of the noise in our nation
For so long we have been on this
For how long we things get better
The street calls.
We would answer
We'll answer the call
To save our fatherland
From massive exploration of her resources
By selected few ones who are in government.
Patience is the key so they say
But for how long are going to stay being patience
Until the ones waiting patiently begins to die
And not able to see how the wait for patience turns out
The streets calls.
This is a golden moment
For our nation as week redress
To change the long statusquo
There is no moment than now
The street calls We must arise...1st of August.
Protest now...Peaceful Protest.

TAKE A STAND: Protesting for Good Governance.
A restless murmur grows
A tide of voices raised in protest
Where silent anger flows
Take a stand.
We stand
A tapestry of faces
A chorus strong and bold
For good governance
the right we chase with a story yet untold.
No longer will we turn a blind eye
To injustices that sting
Corruption's web a tangled lie
Where promises don't sing
Take a stand.
From empty pockets
Voices rise a symphony of pain
We yearn for leaders with clear skies
Who wash away the stain
Take a stand.
The weight of broken dreams we bear
Of futures turned to dust
Promises whispered in the air
That turned to empty trust
Take a stand.
We stand for schools where knowledge thrives
For hospitals that heal
For roads that lead to decent lives
A future hope can feel
Take a stand.
The fire in our hearts ignites
a burning righteous plea
For leaders who uphold the rights
Of all who yearn to be free
Take a stand.
Transparency
A guiding star to chase away the night
Equality the guiding bar
To set a world aright
Take a stand.
This is not a fleeting cry
A moment's burst of rage
But a commitment etched so high
Upon this turning page
Take a stand.
We'll stand until the dawn breaks through
On systems built on lies
For good governance, just and true,
Beneath clear, honest skies
Take A stand.
So let the message far and wide
On every banner fly
We stand united side by side
Until justice meets the sky
You stand and take a stand.
A tide of voices raised in protest
Where silent anger flows
Take a stand.
We stand
A tapestry of faces

AS NIGERIANS HITS THE STREET.
Somethings are better said
Than just shut up for life
Some issues are beyond mere dialogue
But if change must come
There most be a voice one single unifying voice.
As Nigerians hits the street
We are hitting the street
Because of bad government and policies
That is the main focal point here why
Nigerians are hitting the street at such a time like this.
When the cost of living is killing the living
Hardship ravaging the whole land mass
Just as an economic pandemic
Yes that is what are in at the moment
The land isn't flowing in milk an honey any longer.
Home land is no longer home
The land is escorted with all manner of ill-activities
Especially kidnapper long before now
Will where waging war with corruption
But the one worster than corruption has befallen us.
Fuel our own resources
Has turn out over night
To become a dread commodity to buy
The whole nation is boiling
As Nigerians hits the street.

MR.PRESIDENT SAVE THE LAND.
The pressure is hitting
Like sun on a Sunday afternoon
But make sure even in the sun burn
Maintain a good composure
Even when the sun has beaten you so hard.
So hard that life
Sends you to the school hardknock
With all such cater bunch from here and there
No where to turn to nor a shield to hide under
The pressure is hitting way high at crescendo.
You drift from here to there
At every run you tend to run
When nothing is chasing you
Yet you are been chase from all side
To the ruin of your life's ambition.
The pressure is hitting hard
Take life so simple but never hard
Keep the hearing of the wise one
Irrespective of the pressure of life
Stay out of crime and be up at all course
With the rule of law of the land.
Because when you broke the law
The same law of the land will prosecute you
They won't take the hardship in the land
That lad you into pressuring you
To break the law of the same land prosecuting you.

TO MY FELLOW COUNTRY MEN 'N' WOMEN.
Stay safe out there
9ja ninja is really boiling
No one knows where to go
As the nation is under unrest
To my fellow country men and women.
A lot is happening
Of which we all are seeing and feeling
The feeling of want here and there
Even we're living in the midst of so many resources
To my fellow country men and women.
Yet our leaders
Are calling for our patience
In the midst of holding on to their words
Of being patience that all we soon be fine
The economy will pick and inflation we go.
But we see this same leaders of our land
Spending the nation's treasure at will
Buying all manners of flits of cars and jet inclusive
And when the citizen air their views they come for them
Yet we all say we are a democrat state, how true is that?
My fellow country men and women
It wont be long we'll be leaving here
To the promise land our leaders promise us
But is it until death take over our land
Then who will now be the citizens that will get to the promise land.

The giant of Africa, but are we still that?
So too Long.

So long we've dwell on this part
So long we've experience political corruption
Arise from your slumber Nigerians.

How they toiled and labour for this land
To get us where we are today
Has their labour's past not in vain.
So long too long

So long our motherland is ravaging in poverty.

A NATION AT GUN POINT.
Election has come and gone
Our nation still coexist
With our numerous issues
With all side appointee
Yet the nation lacks direction.
Our nation still coexist
With our numerous issues
With all side appointee
Yet the nation lacks direction.
Becoming a nation at gun point
Even though we elect leaders
But the leaders we elect
Never have a heart for others its citizens
Making our nation that is held at gun point.
Even though we elect leaders
But the leaders we elect
Never have a heart for others its citizens
Making our nation that is held at gun point.
Holding all almost all the nation
With a gun in their hand
Pointed right on the head of the citizens
Squandering the nation resources.
With a gun in their hand
Pointed right on the head of the citizens
Squandering the nation resources.
And those in the government
Do not want to cut down
On the cost of running of governance
Void of producing nothing just spending
A nation held at gun point.
Do not want to cut down
On the cost of running of governance
Void of producing nothing just spending
A nation held at gun point.
Is a clear even clearer eye open fact
That the people that runs for office
Are doing this on the ground
f nothing but selfishness
A nation held at gun point.
That the people that runs for office
Are doing this on the ground
f nothing but selfishness
A nation held at gun point.

FRUSTRATED NIGERIANS.
There is so much talk
We go for anti-confab
Spend billions on these conferences
Sat on a round table for long talking
Yet we're at still the same spot.
People are behaving
As if Nigeria is a banana republic
Life doesn't mean and never counts anymore
Blood ate shed at will everyday
Frustrated Nigerians everywhere.
As if Nigeria is a banana republic
Life doesn't mean and never counts anymore
Blood ate shed at will everyday
Frustrated Nigerians everywhere.
Each day the economy
Is going dray off the track
Nothing is working
Naira keep getting weaker
And Nigerians are struggling
To survive under poverty line.
Is going dray off the track
Nothing is working
Naira keep getting weaker
And Nigerians are struggling
To survive under poverty line.
We lost our peace
As there is no rule of law
No more justice for all
All what what we have is kangaroo court
Frustrated Nigerians everywhere.
As there is no rule of law
No more justice for all
All what what we have is kangaroo court
Frustrated Nigerians everywhere.
They carry it on their faces
Like the lyrics of one song like that
"Suffering and smiling"
Is the order of living in Nigeria
Frustrated Nigerians.

"Suffering and smiling"
Is the order of living in Nigeria
Frustrated Nigerians.
A NATION IN DILEMMA.
The question is
How do will get here?
How do we become a nation
Hanging on a pendulum
Swinging from left to right without direction.
As to not know
Where we are going to
As a nation
Has forgotten where we are coming from
A nation in dilemma.
Nigeria has lost
It's sense and right of sovereignty
Long time ago
They bid farewell
To a peaceful coexistence.
Some of our leaders
Acting out as one
Who never goes to school
As their behavior
Is seen in discharging their duties.
A nation in dilemma
And as well under dilemma
We are beginning to lose it
As a people and as a nation
Each day our security network is broken down.
How do will get here?
How do we become a nation
Hanging on a pendulum
Swinging from left to right without direction.
As to not know
Where we are going to
As a nation
Has forgotten where we are coming from
A nation in dilemma.

You recruit ex-terrorist and bandit
Recuperating them into the military
The same we come a and study your activities
Grew up becoming nuisance then
Hijack the whole country.

Hijack the whole country.

EMILOKAN OTI OKAN GBOGBO WA BAYI.
Of office in the land
The campaign team
Did a great tricky work
By carving out the slogan
Emilokan.
Making it as if is a sense
Of entitlement to have such a office
Base on the past years
Of installing this person
As a governor of each states.
Many years have gone and come
And now is the time for reciprocating
That kind gesture of good deeds
Of being a godfather all along
For these set of people installed as governor.
Senators aren’t left out
On the installation of a thing
Little wonder he was shouting
Emilokan the gullible masses
Went on headlong to vote.
After the days of standing on a que
The whole election has come and gone
Now we are feeling the aftermath
Of the campaign sologan ‘Emilokan
The question on every lip now is this.
O ti kà n gbogbo wa bayi!!!!
May God help us all
Cos there is so much intense
Hunger in the land things are getting out of hand
Emilokan, emilokan of a triuth o ti kan gbobo wa bayi.

LET THE POOR BREATHE
He came out with the slogan
Allow the poor breathe
Yet the land is starving of hunger
High cost of living yet your senators
Went head long demanding for two million and SUV.
The street is filling the heat
The people are dying of pain
The pain killer cannot take away their pain anymore
Don’t suffocate us.
Allow the poor to breathe
Righteousness exalt the nation but sin is a reproach
If the senator are sensitive
They won’t be asking for SUV’s car and collection two million.
Company are laying people off
The presidency is shouting pregnancy pain
But do you know there are woman
Who die from the pain of child labour.
Of pregnancy pain
When will they be alive to enjoy
The babies that are being born
President Tinubu you have good intention for this country.
Hunger, starvation and all manner of sorts
Are present in the land allow us to breathe
Let the poor breathe don’t suffocate them
Let’s do things righteously, just two million naira
Do not have the masses at heart at all
The pain is so much in the land
Day in day out our nation is collapsing
Let the poor breathe.

GO AND TELL NIGERIANS
That Nigeria is no longer
Home to Nigerians
As so much has be clouded
The state of the nation.
Our sovereignty is gone
We've lost our voice among nations
Go and tell Nigerians
That all is not well
Even with faith we proclaim all is well.
Go and tell Nigerians
That the cost congo of garri
Back in the days of our fore fathers
Are no longer value in today's food stuff market
Things are really getting out of hand.
As hands can no longer make earns meat
As the riches of the land is left in the hands of few
As our leaders are so empty and nothing to offer
As our land is so poorish in state
As our GDP like basket that can not hold water.

DIFFERENT PEOPLE, ONE NATION.

Surround by a great landmass
From the South to the North
Then races at a crescendo to East and West
Different colors on our skin
But never a different nation
Even though we are different people
In all walks of life
Spread out in different states of our nation
One indivisible nation crafted by under one name
A nation that’s what we are.
As different people we are
There is one force that binds us together
Our nation under which we strive and make progress
As unity is best sustained when we come together
Different people one nation
Different tribes and tongue
Yet we are one nation
Different ethnic believes
Yet we speak one language
A loud voice resounding in the deep.
Reminding us of who we are
And where our roots are coming from
To never forget home as we travel the length
And breathe of this great nation of ours even though
We are so different people but one nation binds us together.

OUR COUNTRY, OUR NATION
We are bound by one creed
Surrounded by one objective
Breeds on the same landscape
Our land serves us with the life we have
This is our country, our nation.
Let us live in unity
Because unity is our strength
The fiber upon which progress strive
A united nation will achieve so much
In the space of a few years.
Let us not live in fear
We are all one brother and sisters
Let us rejoice in peace with one another
We are free and bond to our country
To protect our sovereignty we must stand together as one.
So long we have held ourselves captive in our land
But this is a clarion call to one and all
This is the time to let the white dove of peace
Fly across the length and breadth of our dear nation
Our country, our nation.
Let’s live together with no discrimination
Let’s live in peace not in pieces every hour
Our leaders to secure our future development
Not to lead with an interior motive
Let’s shun hate speeches that will breed war.

NOW THAT THE DUST IS SETTLED.
And yet we still bleed
With the cuts of unfair justice
Served to us at the point
Of making such a patriotic decision.
For the land that we love
Right there in our eyes
Where intimidated and victimized
Of what ought to be a peaceful
Exercise alas turns into bloodshed
To them that seek the will
Of the power by taking it by force
Come what may if blood is shed
It leaves no human feelings on them
Yet we move on as if nothing happens.
But in the face of all these
Ill-human treatment
The wave of wace of displeasure
It is seen across the land
No one is talking about the events.
As the whole land
Was thrown into a state of mourning
To the lives that were lost
To those ones who sustain injuries
That we travel down memory lane.
Of our country
As we cannot forget that faithful day
In which the will of the masses
Was sabotaged to just a will
Of one set of fractions of people.
Now the dust is settled
You expect us all to forget
And act and move on as if nothing happen
While been in the euphoria of the said winning
Now that the dust is settled.
With the cuts of unfair justice
Served to us at the point
Of making such a patriotic decision.
For the land that we love
Right there in our eyes

A NATION TO WATCH FROM AFAR.
Everyone is watching from afar
No one wants to talk about it
As fear grips all no one
Wants to air their view
On the current state of the nation.
Only just a deep sigh
As words want to come out
Each one is mindful of his or her utterance
As silence prolongs upon declaration
Of the winner but alas
Nothing beat imagination
When it suppose to be a drum
From jubilation to an outrageous jubilant
But what do we see just as if
The whole masses were thrown into national mourning.
While we quietly wait and watch
As events for the day unfolds
Yet victimization and intimidation
Continues to outplay as each one is
So scared and afraid to talk.
Standing and watching
The nation from afar off
Our nation is placed in a pause mode
We have lost the excitement
That we as citizens enjoy in our nation.
