WHAT IS CHRISTMAS WITHOUT FORGIVENESS?

Made of steal and stone
So strong and brave
Standing tall without no shadow of doubt
Bridging the gap and becoming a standing block
What is Christmas without forgiveness?

As Christmas comes to town
Let remember that celebration
In the midst of grudges is never
A celebration at all and it won’t be so fun
When we still held someone lock in the prison of our heart.

Christmas is a period so solemnly
And we must not come to table
With grudges and bitterness toward anyone
Let our heart be free and clean of any sorts
Of animosity that we want to deprive us all
Of the blissful moment of this Christmas.

There is no point of celebrating
In an unforgiving atmosphere
Where it is charge with resentment
And all manners of the characteristics of forgiveness
No matter the extent of the damage at least let it go.

For it is a time where the Saviour
Of the world was born
Who bore our sin took it all upon Himself
Yet still make sure forgiveness is sure
Whenever we transgress against the law.

Even when justice demands our life
He stood in the gap for us
Paid the gruesome of the ransomed of sin
With is precious blood then who are will
That we cannot forgive our fellow mankind.

At this Christmas the greatest gift
You owe your fellow mankind
Is to let go and let God forgive
As forgiveness is demanded and utmost
When it comes to human relationship.

A lot happens
When human beings come together
Will step on the toes of people
And this hurts them so much
That forgiveness becomes a long walk

From the pain that held us down
The heart got broken and tears flow down
Will cry severally and leting go
Becomes so hard for us to do
When forgiveness is hard

Giving a second chance
You're so afraid to do that again
But your heart has been broken
so many times but in all
even when forgiveness is hard

To make enemies wasn't the goal

If true peace is what you want

AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS

Fearing the battle was over
And I’d already lost the war
I was tired of trying and failing
I just couldn’t fight anymore
So, dragging my battle-scarred body

I crawled to the foot of the cross.
And I sobbed Oh please, Father forgive me
But I tried
I tried and still lost
Then the air grew silent around me

I heard his voice just as clear as the dawn
Oh, My child, though you are tired and weary
You can’t stop, you have to go on
At the foot of the Cross , where I met Him
At the foot of the Cross, where He died

I felt love, as I knelt in His presence
I felt hope, as I looked in His eyes
Then He gathered me lovingly to Him
As around us God’s light clearly shone
And together we walked though my lifetime

To heal every wound I had known
I found bits of my dreams, long forgotten
And pieces of my life on the floor
But I watched as He tenderly blessed them
And my life was worth living once more

I knew then why I had been losing
I knew why I had not grown
At the foot of the Cross came the answer
I’d been fighting the battle alone
At the foot of the Cross

At the foot of the Cross, where I met Him
At the foot of the Cross, where He died
Then I knew I could face any challenge
Together–just my Lord and I.

REMEMBER TO LET GO

“Forgive us as we forgive those who trespass against us”
Forgiveness is not weakness
It takes strength to forgive
Forgiveness is the first step toward happiness

Towards hope and toward healing

Forgiveness is a huge step
Out of the problem and into the provision of God
Forgiveness is not for the benefit of the person
Who hurt you, who betrayed you, who lied to you
Who rejected you when needed them most

Forgiveness is for your benefit
Please hear me
God cannot forgive you
If you will not forgive another
Remember to let go

Forgiveness is an elective
In the curriculum servanthood
It is required course
And the exams are always tough to pass
In letting go you are doing yourself great deal of favour

The message is clear…
“Forgive us as we forgive those who trespass against us”
If you won’t forgive others God can’t forgive you
If God is perfect and He will forgive you
Why can’t you with all your faults and failures forgive others
