With hateful comments here and there 

Everyone wants to be a reporter.

People have power and they do have, 

Social media represents our mouth 

Hence it is as powerful 

As the words that leaves our mouth.

But the words and deeds been projected

On social media these days are disturbing

One words tides can break 

A soul and can depress a soul.

One picture been shared 

Can break a marriage 

Can use it to broadcast false representation 

Of their life to serve their followers.

Flaunting things they don't own in real life

Fake life makes a huge part of social media today

Today's social media everyone wants to be a reporter 

So they would rather wipe out their phone 

To record an incident or an accident 

Rather than rendering an helping hand to the victims.

Many have lost 

Jobs, relationships and family 

Because of their triecious activities 

On social media because 

Of their bad comments.

WE HAVE LOST THE SENSE OF LIVING.

Our world is fading out
We are gradually losing it
As we chase the trend of social media
In trying to fit into what is not
While long we have forgotten ourselves.

In this street called the internet
As the trends of the internet
Has made many lost their identity
As the clinched to clamoring of normalcy
They sold their real identity.

We have lost the sense of living
When we start chasing the life
That we are not born to live
All in the name of flowing with the trend
Of society in chase of living our life

For the likes of IG, Twitter, Tiktalk
LinkedIn and we forget we got no link
At all linking us to our own life
As we all chase towards fitting into normalcy.

We tend to all social media
Dictate the direction of our life
Private and public our life
Are been govern by the society
We found ourselves clamoring for belonging.

The church on the other hand too
Decide and chose the direction
With their manmade church administration
Of our existence as long ago
We have lost our sense of living.

As we seek validation from online folks
While long we lost our value
As our worth are fast depreciated
All because we don't get the likes
And comment of social media space.

These days every one
