Moses was 80 years of age
His life was almost going to an end
People say
A fool at forty is a fool forever
There is no time that is too late.
Eighty equals forty times two.
If this statement is true
Then a fool at 80 is a double fool forever
They say once you become 80
You cannot be useful by God anymore.
But God called Moses
To start a great work that will count for eternity
When he was 80 years old
Many years earlier, he had sensed and thought
About the call but ran ahead of God.
An act which cost him
Forty wasteful years in the desert
Lonely and abandoned
He walked the backside of the Midain desert
Tending the sheep of Jethro till he lost his self-ambition, pride and self-promotion.
When you think everything is finished
God says it is time to start
When you think it is too late
Now to do anything
He says this is the time to begin.
When you say I’ve lost every opportunity
There’s no point making any trial again
God says I’m willing to forgive you
You can get started now
There is no time that is too late.
We should not be in doubt
About what God wants us to do and
Where he wants us to be
There are people that are very ambition
Their hands, mouth, ears and eyes are everywhere.
The faith of our Father
Not the faith of our pastor
The faith of God's own Son
Not the faith of our pastor's son
The faith
Of God's unfailing Word
Not of man's failing word
Of the faith stands for a lifetime
Not faith only here in this world
The faith
That stands and contends against sin
Not a faith that is bent to suit circumstances
Not faith twisted to be deceptive
The faith of a living God with a pure heart
Not faith in the love of dissimulation
The faith is base on long-suffering
Faith of the old ancient landmark
The faith that forebears one another
Faith in God's won redemptive work of grace
The faith
Faith that we take us home
To get to see our Maker
Not a faith that whose hope
Is just here in this world
The faith
Eternal faith is never an earthly fate
Not faith in pursuit of material earthly gains
But faith whose treasure is laid up in Heaven
Faith that stands no matter the pressure of men
Faith that overcomes the tempter's snares
When everything has fallen apart
And it seems nothing is left standing
God’s Word will stand for life and eternity
No man’s word will outlive God’s own Word
Of a truth God’s Word will stand
Is a water that refreshes
The thirsty soul and mind
The hammer that pierce into the heart
The comforter of a weary wounded soul
God’s Word will stand
His promises are not man-made
They are ever true ever faithful
From generation to generation it stands
The test of time and eternity
God’s Word will stand
Against satan’s follies and fake
Against the enemies threats and curses
Against all manner of the writings of the devil
Against every principalities and power
God’s Word will stand
Bringing salvation for the sinners
Changing life healing broken heart
A foundation n which human life rest on
Bridging the gap between us and the Creator
God’s Word will stand
The Words brings conviction
It brings confession that
Leads to conversion
It brings cleansing because
We are dirty naturally
It brings character of Christ in us
It brings compass for the conscience
It build us up and makes us live right
It brings commission let your light
Shine before men it prepare us for heaven
God’s Word will stand
