MAKING YOUR VISION AND PURPOSE A REALITY: HOW?

When you and your team posses
A strong vision and purpose
You will turn out onto the field
Of life ready to play and to give
Your all in pursuit of your goals

Sometimes you’ll cruise down
The field and score easily
But more often the game will be
Hard fought and will take all
Your energy and resources

In some ways that’s good
Because the best way for us
To learn and grow is to strive
Against a worthy opponent
How?

If David hadn’t come face to face
With Goliath he’d probably have
Ended his days as a shepherd somewhere
In the middle of Judea
How?

But when we pursue our vision and purpose
Usually we will have to use all
Of ourselves and then some to achieve success
I do believe there are five secrets
Of turning vision and purpose into reality

PURPOSE, VISION, ACTION

Knowing what you want to do
And why for whom and for what purpose
Is the first step toward fulfilling your vision
Unfortunately some people stop there
Purpose, vision, action

They never take action to make
Their vision reality come to think of it
But vision without action is nothing
But a pipe dream
Purpose, vision, action

Vision without action
Is like a mirage in the desert
All it does is pull us off course
And leave us stumbling
And gasping for water

Living out your purpose
And putting your vision into action
Is not for the fainthearted
It takes hard work
It takes mapping out a plan of action

Creating a strategic to do list
With carefully determined steps
Action makes vision practical and real
Achieving a vision is like climbing a set of stairs
Purpose, vision, action

There are steps that we must take
To reach the reward awaiting us at the top
The vision has different levels
That we must climb and conquer
Purpose, vision, action

Each step upward is a small
Piece of our vision brought down
To the practical
We also call these pieces of our vision GoAlS
Purpose, vision, action

VISION IS THE ROAD MAP OF PURPOSE

Vision is the road map for our purpose
It takes our deepest desires and lays
Them out for the entire world to see
Vision connects our purpose to action
Vision…purpose

Purpose gets us up in the morning
But vision tells us what to do
Once we’re out of bed
If purpose is the still small voice
Inside of us that pushes us

To set our feet on the path for our lives
Vision shows us the prize at the end
Of the from and how to get from where
We are to where we need to be
Vision is the road map of purpose

Sight is a function of the eyes
But vision is a function of the heart
Vision is born in the heart
It pulses through you
And sustains your life

When we don’t have a vision
We lose our passion
One of my favorite is this
Without a vision people perish
Life void of vision is an aimless life

We all need something to live for
And to work toward vision shows us
What our lives will be like when
We reach the goals we set before ourselves

It keeps us going when things are tough
Because we know the price is worth the effort
When we center ourselves on a vision
The truly comes from the heart
One that fulfills our purpose

And allow us to use our gifts
Then we can steer our life by
That vision with confidence in our eventual success

SURVIVE

See all survival won’t be here
Some of us survive 

With everything working for us
Some of us wake up each day doing
This exercise and that exercise
To get us strong for the favour 

God is about to release into our life

This is the time
Is a basis how you can sustain
Of the thing you cannot describe
That you cannot tell 

Or describe to people
But you just know that 

Something is about to happen 

You just knew something
I don’t care what is going on
Or what seasons are in right now in your life
When God gets ready to bless
He said is never too late for that happen

Let me tell is so dangerous
To give up too soon
People get upset when you got 

Your blessing outside of them
When God himself 

Is not done with you
He got fast and out there 

Is your blessing waiting for you

There are so many people 

In this world who survived 

Didn’t have this and didn’t have that
Didn’t have help, didn’t have job, 

didn’t have friend and family
Sometimes have to push themselves
But they have to encourage themselves 

You got to move it

You are still fighting in the dark
Work legitimately in the dark
Bought your house in the dark
Raise your kids in the dark
You know that God is on your side

You did not have what they have
But you made it anyway
Whoever you are 

I want you to know this is the time
The moment you’ve been waiting for you
You’ve been waited all your life 

To get thus far where you are right now

NAVIGATE BY YOUR PURPOSE

Each of us is born with 

A purpose and reason for living
We must discover our 

Gifts and align our purpose

With their expression 

the world opens before us
And our success is assured
Navigate by your purpose


The fourth BE-Attitude 

Is to BE VISION CENTERED 
Vision show us 

What our purpose will look like
As we go about living it everyday


A life centered on vision 

Will inspire us And keep us 

Going through the tough times
With vision and purpose
We can accomplish great things

IT TAKES A VISION

Only he who can see the invisible

Can do the impossible

Vision is the propeller that keeps us going

As we go through life

It takes vision to finish strong

What is your vision for your life?

We can no longer afford to define that vision

Just in terms of building a successful career or a business

Building Epcots and Golden Arches pales into significance

It takes a vision

To anticipate and avoid the ambushes

To stay in, to stay close, to stay away and to stay alert

To stay in scripture, to stay close to a friend

To stay away from other women and to stay alert from tempters

It takes vision yes to do all these

It takes vision to see the benefit of making yourself

Accountable and teachable

To be willing to go through the miserable

Gut-wrenching dry heaves of genuine repentance

That will put you back on course 

It takes vision not to finish poorly

It takes vision not to finish so – so

It takes a vision to finish strong

Your wife will love you for it

Your kids some years down the line we be glad for a dad like you

Vision will enable you to keep your daily focus

Vision will enable you to be faithful each day

Vision will enable you to fix your eyes on Jesus

Vision will enable chase your dream even in the snow

It takes vision to finish strong
