Yourself to Blame.

Still from "Seven Years Bad Luck" (1...Image via Wikipedia

If things go bad for you
And make you a bit ashamed,
Often you will find out that
You have yourself to blame...

Swiftly we ran to mischief
And then bad luck came
why do we fault others?
We have ourselves to blame...

Whatever happen to us,
Here are the words we say,
"Had it not been for so-and-so
Things wouldn't have gone that way."

And if you are short of friends,
I'll tell you what to do-
Make an examination,
You'll find the fault's in you...

You're the captain of your ship,
So agree with the same-
If you travel downward,
You have Yourself to Blame.

Light at the End of the Tunnel

MARIANI, HAITI - FEBRUARY 22: A portion of th...Image by Getty Images via @daylife

As the storm rages
the billows are tossing high
and it seems the end has come
the waves threaten to swallow
the ship of your life alive.

Darkness! Darkness!! Darkness!!!
loom the course of your life
making vision dim and goal unrealizable
no one is there to render
the anchor holds in spite of the storm.

See don't ever be overwhelm
by the prevailing circumstance
that loom around you never mind
the storm will past and there
will be a new feeling in the air.

See God never let the storm
outlive the sun no matter
what is going on...what will be will be
look away from the past forget it
shut the door on yesterday throw the keys away.

For there's light
at the end of every tunnel
to you it may seems that things
are not working out the way you planed
and you are sick and ready to call it a day.

Wait before you died!
see what have you achieved in life
that you want to take your life
if you haven't see the reason
why you should died you're not fit to died.

Why death?
see if you decide to call
it a day, you will lose
cause you've come this far
and you cannot avoid to quit now.

There's light at the end
of every tunnel
is always darkest before the dawn
don't be discourage just carry on
you're born to rule...to reign.

When All is Lost!

LOST - Charlie FarewellImage by NMCIL ortiz domney via Flickr

Sometimes you feel
you are forgotten no one cares
just all by yourself loneliness
keeps you company accompany by
isolation you reach out your hands.

But no wants you
no one is there to response
to hold you when you stretch out
your hands when all is lost
friends and family are all gone.

And deep inside your heart
there is a pain right there within
you're hurt so painful
you are when all is lost
God is there to lean on.

He is always there
close by when all is lost
when all has failed
when it seems there's no hope again
He's still small voice whispers.

Know within you
that you are not alone
you never came into this world
alone He's has been with you
right from when you were a child
When all is lost seek Him.

“Ring the Alarm.”

Ring the AlarmImage by Darwin Bell via Flickr

Our land is under a siege
The government is sick and needs
The help of a physician
An epidemic is looming on the land.

Everyone is undercover
Sacred of the search light of justice
Corruption at its peak malpractice not left out
One ill-reform coming and going
Just an agenda for embezzlement of public fund.

Ring the Alarm
There’s a thief in the government house
Who will save us from them all?
O.P.C, I.C.P.C, E.F.C.C all of them all ccc
But they don’t have eyes to see.

Everyone is shouting and screaming
People are sweating and suffering
Yet the situation is still all the same
Years come and go one administration emerges
The other one leaves and yet the thief is still there.

Deceiving the masses
with their political manifesto
promising heaven and earth
and yet they never fulfill
any of such promise
building castle in the air.

Some many have died
how many to die more
killing and kidnapping
is in the land yet they never care
so ring the alarm there's a thief in the government house.

Upholding the rule of law
So they say anti-corruption crusade
All of them are just there elevating corruption
So Ring the Alarm there’s a thief out there
Who will save us all.

Here comes a clarion call
To one and all who dares for change?
Which way Nigeria which way will are heading to
We’ve got to stand up we’ve been seating down for long
Enough is enough...Ring the Alarm.

Drive

Your pain can serve
As a catalyst for greatness.

Talking about achievement and success
If you are coming from a background of pain,
Poverty and rejection your passion for greatness,
Achievement and success will never be the same
With that man, that woman who grew up in affluence.

A comprehensive survey tells us
That 80% of the celebrities and great achievers
We have in the world today are from poor
And disadvantaged backgrounds, while the rest 20%
Are those born with the silver spoon.

Then! What makes the difference?
What inspires these disadvantage folks to reach
For and achieve greatness?
What is the common thread that runs these
World class achievers?

A drive is a force that swings one
Into a state of movement to attain
The unimaginable thing that human mind
Cannot think of, reaching beyond limitation
A drive.

An invincible that turns the feeble
Into the formidable
The weakling into the very powerful
The nonentities into celebrities
The disadvantaged and despised into super achievers.

It is a force that propels you to act
In an imaginary ways that humanly thinking
Is impossible when you are sick and tired
Of your present condition and deep inside
You can feel you’ve have not attain your purpose in life.

Profile’s of Achievers

“Someone’s opinion of you does
not have to become your reality.” Leroy Washington.

He was not given any opportunity to try
The statement was very conclusive: “You
Cannot play the piano, and God knows
You cannot sing. You batter learn how to
Weave chair so you can support yourself.”

This becomes heart breaking, when we consider
The fact that these words were spoken to a six
Year old boy by his teacher from whom he
Expected encouragement. His dreams were
Temporarily shattered.

His entire world had come to a temporary end
At the utterance of that statement. But a couple
Of years later, this poor, little six-year old boy
Became a mega star in the international music scene
His name is Ray Charles.

Beethoven composed his greatest work
After becoming deaf.
Sir Walter Raleigh wrote the history
Of the world during a thirteen –year
Imprisonment.
Luther translate the bible while enduring confinement
In the Castle of Wartburg under a sentence of death
And during twenty years in exile.
Dante wrote the Divine Comedy.
John Bunyan wrote the Pilgrim’s Progress
In a Bedford jail.

Thomas Edison was told he was unteachable
Because of his inability to concentrate in class.
Albert Einstein was told that he would never
Amount to much in life.
Ben Carson was labeled as the dumbest boy
In his school because of his pathetic performance.
Les Brown was put in a special class and labeled
Mentally retarded

These people all of them were wrongly
Labeled based on their present realities
But the very truth about this life is that
Realities are not often what they first appear
To be, never judge someone base on the present
Remember the story of Jephthah in the Bible. –Judges 11:2

The Pain Behind the Fame

The power of Fame
you see them everywhere
so celebrated and loved by all
they headlines we have there photos
on our cellphone, offices and houses.

But we  never knew that there's
more to fame then what we think it is
the pain behind the fame
so hurting and agonizing
fame.

Fame intoxicating in nature
accompanying by pride
the junior brother to fame
making you feel as if you've arrived
when you haven't gotten inch part of the world.

As they forget that Fame
there is a way you handle Fame
and Fame will last through the night
but there is a way you handle Fame
in the morning is gone.

See Fame as it is so deadly
if handle in a wrong perspective
too much too handle
when fame gets into the head
you loose sense of judgment.

The superstar you see around
publicly you see them and they project happy face
but private they are suffering alone dying within
suffering and smiling
the pain behind the fame.

Weep the Tears from the Weeping Eyes

Sorrow never last for a night
no matter the pain testimony will come
joy cometh in the morning
cause is always darkest before the dawn
God is always there all the way.

Dry the tears from the weeping eyes
He cares and Loves you in as much you are
His creator before you were born He knew you
He form you in the palm of His hands
you are not alone in this world.

He Knew you when are little
as child you can't go with the thought
as if God is not there is there
always on time He's  been there
weep not child He says my child.

Dry the tears from the weeping  eyes
He loves you more than you know
where would you have been if He
has not  been there or how will you
raise to meet the morning of each day.

Please don't cry dry your eyes
cause God has said it His word affirms it
in this life you'll surely smile
all will be fine one day
that day is just this close.

Never let the burden of your heart
to make you forget that He cares not
He cares for you cause you are
God's Property His personal person
that's what you are.

You may feel, you are far from home
for home is where he is
as along as you  have faith
He (God) be there down the road
you will never walk alone.

The Silent Cry

She was there consume and lost in thought
deep within there is a might conflict going on
as she look into the future so thick and gloomy
she was there waiting and tired of everything
fad up about life.

Within her heart is shattered
the pain in the heart so heavy
that the heart weeps in agony
oh what is happening...then a question
am the only one?

She reach out her hands
no one was there her pillow
is soak with tears of anguish
the silent cry...within her.

The silent cry
every time within her
the pain so painful
hurting and eating her up within
the mind is shattered.

Looking at her face
you can feel the pain
she felt inside and the tears she tries to hide

in her heart she ask God why
can you help will you.

The silent cry of a woman
in a agony she weep
her eye ball is so red
like a fire in an oven bread
so fed up carrying the load all alone.

She looks out there in the street
as her fellow women goes on
living life so filled with much
plenty been abreast no fear and anxiety.

Too Much Too Bear.

Carrying the load alone
it was as if the world is on her shoulder
she tries to smile but sigh comes
sick and tired of living ready to die
friends are gone family were gone.

No one to trust all alone
too much to bear
carrying the load what is life all about
does it worth living why not call it a day
this was the thought going on within.

Left to her fate to face life all alone
no support from anywhere
oh what pain and agony
the pain in the heart
wondering why me?

Too Much Too Bear
tears every night and day
wondering when will all this end
and what will be next
sacred of living the next day.

Her friends deserted her
when she needed them the most
she long for a helping hand
but inspite of it all...then a question came who's there
God is always there...you can lean on Him.

Call on Him
when friends fail
Call on Him
when is too much to bear
Call on Him...is right there by your side.

His never too far to reach
always there in the day time
night time all  the time
never let the burden way you down
take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.

Look away from the load
cast your burden upon the Lord
for He shall sustain you
never be depress by circumstances
see you are born to dominate and to overcome.

About Tomorrrow.

Many things about tomorrow
Many things to understand
consume and eaten up by the thought of tomorrow
of what the future holds in stuck
many things to understand.

 You wake up this morning
about to face the day
but you are filled with the thought of
what tomorrow will be things are not working out
the way you planned yet and you are tired of living.

About tomorrow
we look and wonder of what will be
living today in view of tomorrow
wondering and living in fear
of what will be will be.

See wondering and thinking about tomorrow
look away from tomorrow shut the door
on tomorrow live today begin today with hope
tomorrow in God's Hand is safe and okay
and quit wondering of tomorrow.

Consecrate on today
move out today while there is much to be done
never site down and with hands fold to wonder
what tomorrow will be so start today and live.

Tell me something
if you start wasting your time on what is nothing
by thinking by tomorrow but wait!
you have forgotten something here
that your today writes about your tomorrow.

Many things about tomorrow
many things to understand
and I know who holds tomorrow
and I know who holds my hand
so stop thinking of tomorrow.
