They club or social gathering they belong to

The wealth acquired by their parents, relations, friends and well wishers

Living and been proud of someone’s sweat

They are just living without any future

They go around walking aimless

Not useful to themselves nor the society

They are just crowd chaser just empty

They are not move by the progress of their peers

They are just were they are year in and year out

And yet it never bothered them been in comfort zone

The past years success is still big in their eyes today

They don’t just know what they want

They are every body’s meat

They go with what comes around them

Each day accords us the best opportunity

To live our life that one day we’re gone

Leaving a footprint on the sands of time

Leaving each one no matter where we meet them

Each day look for an avenue

To reach out to the man on the street

To that woman that seems to be downcast

To that child out there in the cold

In need of a shelter and food

Give the world a smile

Let each laugh and find meaning

Helping them discover the purpose of their existence

Raise yourself to help mankind

Problems never lives us
The way they find us but
You determine what the problem
We do to you
Life is never a bed of roses
Why should you let it frustrate you

Bitter moment will come
That’s not the reason for you to take a bowl

The storm will come and go

A new feeling will come over you
The dream will come through
Just still try to hold on

“Say says we are Africans
Others says Africa lives in us

Our land.

A whole new world
A wonderful world of fresh habitat
Our skin cannot be an opposing factor
We cannot be judge by the content of our skin

Naija our country…our house
The pride of motherland
The search is on for that face
New face of naija
Cause we are the giants of Africa
We can’t afford to be grasshopper
Lets stand by that name, we are and still we’ll be.

The new face is starting leaving its
Old face of that stigmatization behind us
Cause what matter now is with the present
The past remains with the past
Lets come together and put that behind us
Cause in finding the new face of naija
We have to forget the old face of naija.

Naija…nija that’s it oh!
Are on the fence or where are you?
If you are out there and you are
A correct naija person wake up
Nor be the one way too day complain
Of any mistake that our leaders have made
For once believe in naija.

Dare to dream wake up from your slumber
That slumber of what you think
Will not be naija go survive
No matter what, we go survive
We go fight corruption
We go fight hunger just believe
‘Cos it starts from within.

Arise oh! Compatriots

There’s a clarion calls that swift across our nation
A call to stand and stand firm to save our nation
Which way we are heading to arise Nigerians here the call
If you hear this message am calling on every man and woman
We are the future generation we can’t avoid to wait
The future started yesterday and today we are already late.

Is a call not just a call…a clarion call?
To one and all irrespective of whom we are
Yes! We are Africa…Africa lives in us
The pride of motherland…the giant of Africa
Arise! Arise the trumpet calls obey.

Awake from thy slumber
Oh motherland…comes out of that pity zone
Out of what can I do brace up
Our nation is dying and no one can save her
Nigeria must build Nigerians.

I am calling on everyone
If you hears this message
Wherever you stand I’m calling
On every boy, girl, man and woman
We’re Nigerians so lets save Nigeria
Come lets fix a new Nigeria
It begins with YOU and I.

Here the call is coming from a distant land
The sound is whistling so high
A call to obey in service
To our father’s land
With love and strength and faith
Standing firm to build our nation
So that the about of our heroes past
Will never and shall never be in vain
Serving in heart and might
With one goal…one pursuit
