Refuse to Let Go

The race started so well

Without not seen what lies before the race

As everyone is racing to win because they choose to win

No one wants to record defeat but little did each one knows

That the darkness is not the end of the year

 

Suddenly as the race progress without no retrogression

No one wants to be left out each one want to make a mark

For time and for the future unborn to make a better world

One day an event that will shape the life of the racers is about to be struck

Only those whose got courage and shock absorber is so strong that will stand

Suddenly, yes suddenly it happens

There come the challenges besetting the racer

Distraction on every side as each gasp for survival

The life that was cherished becomes uninteresting to live

The sky is blink and black it seems all is over

The heart is falling…wanted to stop working

The brain is drained…every possible clue is clueless

The feet so weak…not been able to carry the body

The hand weathered…amounting to less to nothing

Giving up becomes so real steering you at the face

You tried and tired of tiring

You’ve been so strong now weakness

You have experience so many times of been strong

You can’t avoid to fail is not loosing that matters

You getting up and say no and refuse to let go

When life throws adversity at you got the audacity

To stand tall when life becomes unfair

Remind yourself that is not what happens now

But how you deal with what you face to stand up and move on

Refuse to let go but hold on until you race to finish line

Not just finish line

But wait and stay on the course

Until you have achieve nothing but greatness

Never refuse to let go…stay on the course

Avoid distraction…concentrate on the prize to win and finish strong 

This day I adjure refuse to let go
