It has been all the way all along

The problems facing our land

Seek nothing but urgent arrestation

By that one person who got a real conviction

Not a mere mega conviction

One in whom truth prevails o’er his soul

From within to outside public and private

Never a kind of Pharisees neither coward

That goes with the crowd and wishes of men and society

I am talking about those who got it for real

And what is that they got

I mean conviction without compromise

Who has passion and hatred

For corruption, malpractices of any kind

Faking certificate to acquire certain position

See is time you stand up and be counted

For long you’ve been numbered with the crowd

Following and living by the slogan

If you can’t beat them join them, wait!

Must we seat and watch corruption prevail

Justice has been taking away from the stock market

And it seems the system has bought so many shares

Of corruption and conviction has been taken away

Lost with the recession of compromise in the face of conviction  

Where is the truth of those early good days?

As you buried your head in shame

For you know what it takes and how it should be done

All just because compromise has overshadow conviction

And now conviction has been thrown into the winds

Has it has embark on that journey of no return

I stand for what you believe

Hold fast to it never you let it drift

For whatever reason stand tall

Get hold of your conviction live it out for all to see

Never compromise it for anything…now is the time to start living it out

Be convicted for what you know

And never let go of it on the bed of compromise

Born with a silver spoon or a bad rusted spoon

See them as they don gather

For every news paper stand

Dem they talk, they complain

About this one and that one

Yet dem never tire at all

For everything we  go through as citizen

We blame the government

Oil spillage on our water ways… government

Water no run weather…government

Road bad and no light…government

Are will not sick and tired of it all

Must it be only violence the way out

We don 9fight for so long yet no ways

Blame the government, went on strike

And get rolling worth while has happen

I think is time to rise up to the course

A worthy course that worth going for

Let’s stop the blame war and wake up

And taking up the challenges

Not taking up arms but seek peace with dialogue

Dialogue with action

Not too much of taking that is void of action

Current and concrete action result oriented

And now is the moment to stop the blame game

And seek for a way forward constructed criticism

We’ve come along way

Decades after millennium

For so long we’ve maintain the old status quo

And new is the moment to arise the future calls

Arise for change my fellow changer 

Who got passion for change

To see things work out for betterment

If tomorrow history comes and we fail

Our generations born and get unborn

We never forgive us because we’ve fail them

If you fail to arise for change now

While it is called today now

The best time to plant a tree is now

No time is slumber away on the bed of laziness

The change of heart… within comes out
