Africa has been a scar on the heart of the world
For so long we have watched 

Our sovereignty tramped upon

Our leaders sell us out 

Administration after administration
Going to beg for grants and borrowing 

To enslave the unborn generation into slavery

For how long we continue in this circle
Chasing what is never lost
While we have all that can make us great

The greatest problem of Africa
Is not a tsunami not an earthquake
Is never a natural disaster
But a man-made disaster

As our appearance needs to be modest enough
As not to allow it become a room from another falls prey

As we regulate the hours spent on the internet
The nature of the kinds of chat, and calls we indulge in
Articles been kept under close monitoring
Been under the influence of greater power God
Because we can’t battle alone

Daily examination ought to be done
Of our thoughts and feeling
Putting them all under control

The world is filled with so many denomination
All in the name of church
With religious affiliation
Am of this church name

With various names of men and women
Leading this church and that church
Standing as a spiritual head
With all sorts of title
Dishing out what they the Word of God
 
Alas so many of them are assuming
The responsibility of the said head
Of these religious house
Where they gather thousands of people
In form of members
 
But these so called preachers
Few are called while many call themselves
To assuming the title they hold
As their members follows
Some preaching nothing but the undiluted Word of God
 
But wait to you Mr. Preacher
Called by God separated by God for His service
How far the call you receive
And the vow you made
So far so good how about this
 
Today we have so many preachers
Be it online and offline space
With so much big beautiful well-crafted edifice
How about the life of the people
Who go into that so called big beautiful edifice
 
We have so many different kinds of preachers
The preachers of grace watery mouth

While they are carried away with the cares of this world

Are becoming so rampant these days dishing out poison that contradicts the real essence of the coming of Christ into the world

MEN FOR THE HOUR

The world is in need of men
Not mere men but
These are men for the hour
On whom God is really depending on
For the work of the hour
 
He is not looking for common
But uncommon men to fit in
For the job of the hour
Because the hour is come
That the true worshippers will worship Him
 
Not just worshipping Him
But to worship Him in truth and Spirit
Because a Christian is one who not only
Worship Christ but lives like Christ

What can of men
Is Christ really searching and sought for
Today we have all men everywhere
Who prophase that they are of God
But how many of these men are really of God

Has so much eaten into them
Whose lust for money and pleasure

KEEPING DAD IN MEMORY

Was the year my dad bid this world farewell
To be with his Maker in eternal rest
A peaceful being went home before his time
Because of man's wicked act meant out to him
But Heavens knows all the answer

Yet the footprint of dad lingers on
On the sands of time
Little did I no dad but a lot tells about him
Because I was still a child when he left
 
Seen mother talked about him
How I look like him am a replica of my dad
Living without a father
Was a bit tough and challenging
At such a time when one needed him around
 
But in the midst of it all
I grew stronger than ever
I fought my way through life
To keep life afloat going
As not having all life afford
 
But mum was a super strong woman
Who walk the mile to make sure
I and my siblings are fine
She trying to feel the vacuum
Playing the role of both parent figure
 
My dad is a complete gentle man
Whose love for family is top priority
Looking back to those days
Of dad been much alive and around
The humility he possess is not here
 
The calmness that oozes out of him
No one can contain
I know He is looking down right on me
Been proud of what have become
Over the years he left to be with his maker
Am also proud of you dad been your son

God’s laws are immutable

No man can serve two masters
The scripture stated emphatically
