There’s earnest preparation going on 

Streets are getting too busy to contain 

No one wants to be left out preparing 

For the new dawn of another year 

Cleaning of all sorts is going on 

To usher in the New Year

People that never been to the church 

Are trooping in mass to religious houses 

To pray they’re way through into the New Year 

With making New Year’s resolution 

Reeducating their lives to God 

The New Year’s Eve 

Is filled with so such activities

Some reflect on their life 

How has it all been during the old year? 

And some are asking for a second chance 

To make it up to God 

While some thought the end of the world Has come

That’s the New Year’s Eve for you
