My Morning Prayer.

Oh lord another day has just began

help to live today
in your footstep

as I look into the day

of what it has in store for me.

As I stand here lord

help me just to live each day

never to wonder away from thee Lord

one day at a time help me

that's what I ask Lord.

Give hear to my voice oh Lord

consider my meditation

harken unto the voice of my cry

my king and my God

for unto thee will I pray my voice shall thou hear.

Oh lord in the morning

will I direct my prayer

unto thee will look up

this is my prayer

my morning prayer.

Lord hold my hands

give me the grace

to live under the influence of your Spirit

keep me near the cross

I don't want to go astrayed
