City of Injustice

The land is so much filled up
With so many happening day in and day out
The world is filled with its mannerism
That beclouded the world activities
Yet the whole process remains as if no law exists

The injustice the prevail in our land
As the world matches on to victory
And with her low moral standard
Finishing the world at large
No city is left out in the injustice

The alarming is ringing so loud
As the darkness of the night overcrowds the land
No one wants to be singled out
To chant the warning ringing out the alarm
That the city of injustice

Weren’t anywhere to be found?
Only going to the slogan if you can’t beat them join them
The power of injustice of every form exists
Out there in that city of injustice
Every man for himself

Corruption has finish us all
The system has failed
All we scream for a change
While all these immanence in our city
The city of justice now becomes the city of injustice

The society has lost it morals
The world at large is wasting away
Wallowing in moral decadence with no one at her rescue
Straying away so fast approaching in repairable damage
Our world is lost we can place the where is heading to

See we must lunch out
To save the future…save the world
Recovering the lost act of that city of justice.

Fight to Finish

English: Gladiator fight in Chester Amphitheat...Image via Wikipedia
If you will not fight
For the right when you can
Easily win without bloodshed

If you will not fight
When your victory
Will be sure and not
Too costly

You may come
To the moment
When you will have to fight
With all the odds against you
And only a precarious chance of survival

There may even
Be a worse case
Where there is no hope of victory
Because it is better to perish
Than to live as slave

LISTEN

As I sat down in a open place
With the cool gentle wind blowing
Enjoying the fresh air of nature’s air conditional
In an atmospheric inhabitant just there
Suddenly an event unfold right there

These beautiful creative came out
So full of life yet life was unpleasant to them
Selling and hawking their wears of all sort
As some fall pray into molester, rituals and raper
While other embark on a journey of no return

Listen to their heart cry
As they cry from the depth of their heart
Oh! Our children are gift from God
Never meant to be made an article of trade
Joyful children make a joyful world

Listen to the wishes of their heart
Let’s meet that wishes making it real
Taken the children of the street, market places
And sending them back to the classroom
Where they rightful belong

ONE DAY IN GOVERNMENT

Am not speaking neither written
To make a common history
Of becoming a governor, senator or president
In just one day not at all
But to leave a worthy legacy

For those who will take over
After the one day in government has a lapse
To let the one see how things ought to be done
Am speaking for my generation
And calling for change

I know where many to be done
That twenty four hours won’t be enough
To really effect that change that we seek
But with just that one day government
Long standing problem will be change

Am not going to never work alone
But am going to bring the best of brain
Into my cabinet with a result oriented programmes
Never talking to much but little talk much action
Because have got no time to waste at all
Is just one day in government

The Wake-Up Call

CORAL GABLES, FL - JANUARY 9: Adrian Thomas #3...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
Hear the call
Is coming from the mountain
To one and all
Young or old, king or ordinary
Is the wake up call

The call is going out
To those who dare to make
That change who are dissatisfied
With the present state of their life
If you’re out there and you really want to know

That the world stand aside
For that person who knows
Where is going to
No one wants to celebrate a failure
But success, success is who you are

Each of our stay here on earth
Give us the privilege an open cheque
To contribute to the existing body of knowledge
Before we bid this world farewell
The future started yesterday today we’re already late

His motto his Oliver Goldsmith
“Where determination is predominant
Failure can not dismantle the flag of success.”
Wake-up the pick up that call
A call to make impact in life

Many live in this world
Never been known or their presence been notice
They are just living they never existed
No aim, goal or destination of where they have in mind
The wake-up call is for all

If you hear this message
Wherever you stand am coming
On every one wherever human is found
We don’t have to wait for destiny
Arise and awake to the wake-up call today.

Rememeber Where You Started...

Remember you started so well
out there you where so humble
then fame and the world has not gotten
into your head when money wasn't there
you behave yourself and carry yourself in humility.

As you lunch out
connection started pumbing in and out
now you are everywhere on every lips
making headlines in the electronic and printing media
now you suddenly forget in a haste where you are coming from.

You feel you did it all by yourself
forgetting it was God
who made you what you are today
remember where you started
how you started how is it today.

Any river that forget is source
is likely to run dry
remember that God gaveth
everything will have no matter who  you are
the height you've attain in your field.

Look back...wait and take a thought
of how it all started have you not
taken all the glory to yourself
and forgotten something so quick
like the sleep of a night.

Without God who are today?
your friends and family
your love ones and leaders
why has fame intoxicated you this way
you've allow it to get into your head and you are gone.

Awaken of Independent: Nigeria

Obafemi Awolowo University Palm farmImage via Wikipedia
Long, long years ago in a city called Ibadan
The meeting was held to determine
The fate of a nation that meeting change
The course and history of that particular nation
That meeting gave birth to country called Nigeria

Awaken of an independent
Is a new day filled with so much excitement?
Joy unending and happiness knows bound
A day when the colonial master left us
To channel the course of our nation
The dawn of a new era
Awaken of Independent

Years has come and gone
But wait! How was it today?
Where are will today? @ 50 golden jubilee
Has things made a change since then?
Or are will just chasing shadow?
An empty shadow within

The labour of our hero’s past
Shall never been in vain
Is it not been in vain today?
Take a look at the state of the nation today
As we emerge 50 today

Look around you
Celebration in an clamorous feeling
There’s a feeling in the air celebration time
With shows here and there
Celebrating freedom are all free indeed?

Are we not like the a prisoner
In which his prison doors are open
And yet he refuses to come out of his prison room
Ehnn are we not like that leaders and citizens
Awaken of independent what a feeling

Independent Day

As our heart cries out
Soul awaiting the dawn
Expectant is the language of everyone
Waiting so anxious the dawn of a new day
The call of freedom

Ring the bell…sound the alarm
Bring out the drums for harvest of celebration
There is a feeling in the year…awaken of independent
Heart are waking new day is dawn
Sounds of independent day fill the land

Let the birds takes the message to one and all
That there awaken of independent
From the one that retrains we to fly like a bird
Taking over the air space now we are free at last
To take and channel the course of our life

Void of corrupt spirit
Never been intoxicated by the lust of office
We are never bound we are free indeed
To never betides on anything that betides us
Awake to a new era

Take it far across every land
From the mountain to the valley
Let this filling fill the air
Awake my soul and sing
Independent day

We are free
To lift our hands
We are free
To make our decision
We are free to make it happen in our domain
The glorious call

Hear the sound
The sound of victory
Is coming far from the distant land
A long waited call freedom is here
Take it home we are now at home

After Independent

Fiesta-193Image by gcraig3si via Flickr
The day has finally come and gone
So much funfair and fête
Celebration has come and gone
The moment and time of merriment gone
So much celebration in the air
Now what’s next After Independent?

Where are we then?
Where are will now?
Has time made a change on us
As a citizen ruled and rule
As a nation; a republic so we are called
After independent

Administration comes and go
Yet the system still remains all the same
Year in year out as days rolled into weeks
Weeks into month, month into years
And yet our country still remains the same
At that same spot in the year gone by

Where are will heading to?
Rulers and ruled I need an answer
So many questions seeking solution unanswered
With a common language “E go better” isn’t it
And yet the state of the nation is in shamble
A pitiable state of the nation

E go better…
Our nation is sick needs physician
E go better…
The fallen standard of education
E go better…
The ill-reforms of all kinds
E go better…
The unbearable standard of living
E go better…
Potholes on our roads causing accident claiming lives
E go better…
Unemployment in the land so rapt. Since when?
When is it going to get better! When?
After independent but independent has come and gone
50 years after independent, when?

What’s Your Dream?

The day one is born
A star was created and made
For one cause and purpose
Inputted with a dream to live by for a lifetime
No one is born without it.

Everyone is born with a definite purpose
That singled him/her out of the mixed multitude
Everyone is gifted with one skill or the other
To become that which the maker makes of him/her
No one ever carries the owners / maker’s manuel.

Our life begins the moment will arrive
Never waiting for a moment to slip by
Life never begins at forty at all
But life begins right inside the womb of our mother
So what’s your dream?.

A man without money
Is never a poor man
But a man without dream is the poorest man
Here in the world we live in the world
Make room for that girl and boy…man and woman
Who know where he/she is headed.

Never be an onlooker
But a changer of event and history
Becoming that person who got the gurts
To stand up and live out his dream
For God and mankind…glorifying God globally.

What’s your dream?
What’s that you are born to be?
What’s your burning desire?
Do you care to live them all out?
In achieving nothing but peaceful world.

A moment will come
When history will remember you
Of what will, history remember you for
A wasted dream amounting to no fulfillment
Dying full instead dying empty
Given back to the grave yard an empty carcass a used up body.

There’s A Cry

How much life will still go down?
The passionate cry of a soul out there
The longing for liberation by the people
There’s a cry faraway in the distant land
Who will hear the cry?

There’s a cry
Echoing in the distant
Of ternary and oppression
A soul is suffering about to die
Looking out for sucide the situation is over killing

There’s a cry
Coming from a mother
Whose child has been murdered
In a cold blooded scene
Look at her as she clinched to her child in the pool of his own blood

There’s a cry
Coming from the street of Oshodi
Untold suffering as the people
Scream out there passionate plea
For a help somewhere but when will that help suffice

There’s a cry
From that boy that girl out there on the right
Of major cities in searching for a ends meat
After so much years of toiling in the higher school of learning
Graduating thinking the struggle is over
Little did they know that the struggle just commence

There’s a cry
From that child out there in the street
In the scorch of the sun, wild wind and rain
As they hawk their wears shouting out
For buyers to buy their wears

There’s a cry
Out there another is down
Send to the journey of no return
Oh alas every one as they bow their heads
A star has fallen...
