You’ve slept away drifting subtly
As each time flies away
History is far approaching your end
And tomorrow begins with you in view
Yet you failed to realize that

You’ve got no moment at all
To squander away in lasciviousness
You’ve eat away the days of your strength
Only to realize that you are now flitting away
Like a chaff that is been carried away by the wind

Drunk and intoxicated by youth exuberant
The moment kept slip away right in your eyes
While your mates are awake you snore away all night
Look at you alas you can realize
That you are living on a borrowed life

Each day you move closer so close
The other as I watch in celebration mood
You pull crowd celebrating your birthday
The atmosphere is filled with celebration
The moment kept slipping away

Wait you are left far behind
Is it nothing to you?
That day in day out
You are where you are yesterday in today
Can’t you see, what do you do?

all the people friends and family
They’ve talk but you’ve mind up your mind
And seal up your conscience with a hot iron
No to kind spoken words of advice
Wait a time will come when it would have slip away

This is the moment
You’ve linger so long on that state
