WE OVERCOME THE WIND

We want the rain to fall
We want to move from here to there
We want to feel no more of our pains
We want the water to pour down
In mighty streams to wash our tears away
 
The wind keeps blowing
Lashing out on our skin
The cold is so much outside
The world is upside down
We are tired of standing in a face-off with the wind
 
We that drop
That contained the sea
And calm the troubled sea
Where storms alive that want to swallow
The ship where alive alas we need a survival
 
That will take through the torrent valleys
As the ocean current flows in high crescendo tides
If the children rejoice the women are so happy
And with one strength in unifying forces
We overcome the wind
 
The winds beneath our feets
That tends to sweep off our feet
From the rocky stands of where we stand in life
Never to want to dray our feet
