SOMEBODY OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU.

Am writing to your conscience
And if your conscience is not connecting
Then there is a problem with your conscience
Will are all a gift and beneficiary of success
Yes I believe there is a room for hard work.

But the question here is this
Is success really earned or is given?
Success can be earn but is much more given than it’s earn
Don’t let anyone deceive that they made it all alone
Somebody open the door for you.

That is why you are here
Somebody helped you
And give you the gift of experience
Somebody mentor you and open the door for you
Self-made billionaire my foot.

Stop misleading people
With your story of how you single handedly made it
All alone by yourself someone gave it to you
Don’t and stop deceiving people
Today be that person who open door for others.

FIXING THE POLICY AND REFORMS.

As we go again towards another democracy day
The tinted question that many are shying away from
Is are we really democrat in all our dealings
From the policy that governs the affairs of our nation
To the laws and regulation rolled out every now and then.

Do the masses really matters at all
What are the people saying?
Do they even have the fair hearing?
How about their constitutional right of freedom of speech
Are they not living in fear of speaking their mind?

Every now and then each administration
Comes into office rolling out this reform and that reform
But the reform never leave the environment of ink and paper
It dies down there and yet nothing is working
Our policy isn’t working at all not in favour of the masses.

As a nation will need good policy
That will go round to favour everyone
Not just a policy in favour of the rule or ruling party
But to the citizens of the state and the nation at large
Only then will can have a nation that is working.

Fixing the policy and reforms
Before the policy must work well to its effects
There must be a followed tailored policy
Towards a working policy and reforms
If our nation will truly live out to its name a working nation.

NIGERIA: A NATION ON THE SOPTLIGHT.

One nation bound in freedom peace and unity

Bound in freedom not chain in bondage

Not bound by banditry from an unknown gun men

Who’s got faces but our leaders are so insensitive

As they lack the security measure to track down this faceless people they call it.

Upon which the citizens are not living at peace

In their land homeland becomes a nightmare

To live in right there in their homeland

Becoming stranger in their own motherland

Nigeria a nation on the spotlight.

To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign

For so long peace has left the nation’s shore

Its security systems are broken lack good network security system

Justice isn’t for all anymore as the judiciary is so so corrupt

Only the big money can get justice in our nation.

What a pity on a nation referred to as the giant of Africa

Now living like grasshopper of that same continent called Africa

Leaders are siphoning the resources meant for all to personal gain

Nigeria a nation on the spotlight yet will say we’re doing well

And yet the nation is groaning in pain and abject want poverty.

ARE WILL INDEPENDENT OR DEPENDENT?

Today marks a great in our nation
Our nation is at the stage of yet
Marking another day another years
Of freedom from been rule
By colonial leader and her dedicates.

Being free is been able to stand on your own
Being free is the ability to do something at your own pace
Freedom is what brings greater opportunity
To really stand on your feet and get things going
But on this day as will mark this great let’s ask ourselves.

Are will independent or dependent
Yet our leaders still go around
Borrowing so much to run the country
After the fund generated within
Was embezzled spend without not been accounted for.

Are will really independent
To stand alone in taking care of our needs
And maintaining a great soverienity
Within the boarders of our nation
From each state to state.

Yet will call ourselves independent
But we are still depending on every little things
That we can take care of in our own state
Without not to go out to source for this and that
I leave you with this question dependent or independent.

A NATION IS DYING.

Each day
Each moment
Each Election Day exercises
From one Democracy day and independent day celebration
Our nation is getting worse than ever before.

Things are getting out of hand day by day
A nation is dying and yet will say we are making progress
But to what end is this kind of progress
Are will talking about here.

Is a progress twitted towards
The insurgency in our land of all manner of sort
For the insecurity in our land to the unknown gun men
While we all know this gun men occupying our land
But wait don’t will all say we are a sovereign state.

If truly we are what we call ourselves sovereign state
Then while will strangers of unknown gun men and banditry
Terrorizing our nation and will do less to nothing about it
Yet will go on and start saying we are when we are not as a nation.

And as a people who don’t know what will are saying
Our home is no longer home
Will have become strangers in our homeland
A nation is dying yet will say we are living
Living amidst a dead system of government.

TOWARDS A WORKING COUNTRY.

Our home our nationality
Our country our nation
Our leaders our people
Our native land our mother land
Towards a working country.

For one and all
Everyone ruled or rule
Each one deserve a better country
Upon which everything is working
For the common man on the street.

Bad governance has retard
The progress of this country for so long
Our nation is bedridden of the ill-leaders
That has led this nation to where it is today
And corruption is eaten deeply day in and day out.

Towards a working country
Where the justice system is upholding the law
In its entirety everything is working as it ought to be
Toward a good federal system of government
For you and me in all aspect and sector of this nation.

OKADA STORIES: SPEED AND SURVIVAL.

Through Lagos streets the okada flies
Dodging traffic beneath the skies
Carrying hopes from dawn till night
Through every jam they find the light
Survival whispered in weary eyes

Ojota to Yaba the engines roar
Lekki to Mushin the riders explore
Rain or shine the hustle stays
Risking it all through winding ways
Lagos keeps calling them back for more

The wind becomes their faithful friend
Every shortcut a means to bend
Faster than time they chase their bread
With countless tales the city has fed
Okada men ride till journeys end

Oh Lagos your stories are paved with speed
Your people ride hard to meet their need
Survival etched in the turning wheel
A restless spirit the streets reveal
Okada stories are Lagos creed.

WHEN THE TRAFFIC BECOMES A CLASSROOM

In Lagos the traffic holds the day
Horns and shouts become the play
Children sell books between the cars
Drivers learn patience under the stars
Lessons are taught in a different way.

From Ojuelegba bridge to Lekki lane
The road becomes a place of gain
Vendors preach the gospel of survive
Every minute a struggle to stay alive
Lagos writes wisdom in the pain.

Danfo drivers teach speed and chance
Conductors chant a daily dance
The market woman shows how to bend
The hustler learns how not to end
Lagos speaks in a moving trance.

Oh Lagos your traffic is more than delay
It teaches the poor to find a way
It molds the strong in endless heat
It keeps the city on restless feet
In your jam the future learns to stay.

THE STREET VENDOR’S ANTHEM.

In Lagos mornings, the cries begin
“Pure water!” “Gala!” voices ring
Under the sun or in pouring rain
Vendors sing through struggle and pain
Each shout a song, survival’s hymn.

From Ojota markets to Surulere’s street
Hustle and sweat in the burning heat
Balancing trays with unwavering pride
Children and mothers walking side by side
Lagos moves to the vendor’s beat.

The danfo honks, the bridges shake
Yet vendors push on, make or break
Selling hope with every call
Chasing dreams though pockets small
In Lagos, no effort goes to waste.

Oh, Lagos, your vendors tell the tale
Of courage that thrives where odds prevail
Their anthem rises, bold and true
A chorus of millions breaking through
The heart of Lagos will never fail.

OJUELEGBA DREAMS, ISLAND REALITIES.

In Ojuelegba, dreams are born at dawn
Hustlers rise through the night feels long
Streetlights fade, but hope burns bright
Voices of Lagos chasing the light
Every struggle sings its song.

Ojuelegba’s streets whisper untold pain
Vendors calling in sun and rain
Danfo horns echo survival’s tune
Morning rush collides with afternoon
Lagos teaching grit again and again.

Across the bridge, the Island shines
Towers rising where ambition aligns
Lekki lights and Victoria wealth
Contrasting lives of hustle and stealth
Lagos revealing her tangled lines.

Ojuelegba dreams, Island realities meet
In Lagos, hope and hardship compete
The city of sweat, of glory, of fight
Chasing tomorrow from morning till night
Eko endures restless, yet sweet.

DANFO DIARIES: VOICES OF THE YELLOW BUS.

Lagos wakes with the danfo’s roar
Conductors shouting, passengers galore
Coins exchange, tempers flare
Yet laughter and struggle mingle in air
The yellow bus tells tales of more.

From Ojuelegba down to CMS
Danfo moves in chaos and endless stress
Squeezed together, strangers unite
Sharing sweat, stories, and urban fight
In Lagos, the hustle finds no rest.

Third Mainland Bridge hums with wheels
As danfo drivers spin survival’s deals
Rain or shine, the journey goes on
Every horn a chorus, dusk till dawn
Lagos survives on how the danfo feels.

Oh, Lagos, your danfo is more than a ride
It’s the city’s heartbeat, worn with pride
Voices of hustle, echoes of pain
Dreams in motion through sun and rain
Danfo diaries Lagos’ story inside.

LAGOS: THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS.

Lagos, where dawn begins before the cock crows
Horns and voices rise as the lagoon flows
Dreams chase kobo through bustling streets
Ambition and sweat in every heartbeat
A restless rhythm the whole city knows.

Lagos, the danfo shouts fill the air
Oshodi to Ojuelegba, hustlers everywhere
From sunrise till night, the markets roar
Each vendor’s cry is a hope for more
Survival and passion weave a daring flair.

Lagos, her bridges stretch wide and long
Third Mainland hums with a hustler’s song
Island towers and mainland pain
Every drop of sweat is someone’s gain
Her spirit unbroken, unyielding, strong.

Lagos, the city that never finds rest
Her people keep pushing, giving their best
Night becomes day, day turns to night
Still the hustle burns fierce and bright
In Lagos, the sleepless heart beats blessed.

WHEN LIFE SLICES YOU.

Who comes for you?
Is it the society?
The well-wishers
Love ones and close associates
They all come with their sledgehammer.

Each one with a court grave
Not leaving the scale of justice behind
All came out with full force at you
But who comes for you
When life slices you.

In bits or wait in pieces
And it turns out to be
A pity party sucking in that’s what they all call it
But wait, is it or does that mean it
You just left alone.

No one understands you
No one sees you
All they see are different things
And it all goes on and on
When life slices you.

But wait before you judge me
Try as much as you can to walk in shoes
What shoe, you ask me that really
You need to fit into that shoe
When life slices you...till then.

LET GO OF TOMORROW, LIVE FULLY TODAY.

Let go tomorrow
Since you still have today
You only have today to build
On the foundation for a better tomorrow
So why not live fully today.

Live fully today
Be in the moment
Let go of tomorrow
Because the beauty of life
Is living in the moment.

And live fully and be in the presence
At all times in all ways you can
Because it matters as you can see
Let go of tomorrow and just start
Living fully today.

You have today to be all you can be
To chase the dream while the moment
Is so close here just as your nostril is
Let go of tomorrow worries and never let anxiety deprive you
From living fully today.

BREATHE. BE. BELONG: WHY THE PRESENT MOMENT MATTERS MOST.

This is the time to breathe
To be in the space where you want
To belong in the part of building process of your life
Why the present moment matters most
Just breathe. Be. Belong.

Just take a moment and breathe
The fresh air of good vibes
Sapping out the negative vibe
And get into that question
Why the present moment matters most.

The present is a gateway
To a brighter future
To prepare for tomorrow
In securing a great future ahead so
Breathe.Be.Belong.

Belong in the moment you are creating
Make sure you are in the present
Of that present moment
Because it matters most
In you creating a better presence in making it counts.

PRESENCE OVER PERFECTION: EMBRACE THE MOMENT, NOT THE PRESSURE.

Our presence matters most
In living the moment, we need it so we can
Embrace the moment not the pressure
You’ve got to let it all out
Is the presence over perfection.

Presence isn’t fighting nor
Looking for perfection
But in all is all about
Embracing the moment
Not the pressure that comes with each life’s scene.

But living to accept our presence moment
Over life pressure of what the world expect of us
But we taking out time to embrace
The moment not the pressure
Presence over perfection is what matters most.

Just exhale and take it all out
And take in the right needed
Energy and vibes that we help you see
Presence over perfection by you
Embracing the moment not the pressure.

NOW IS ALL WE TRULY OWN: THE POWER OF LIVING IN THE MOMENT.

Is dawn look out of the window
And see the sun of the day
As the dew loses its essence
In the sun of the day as it heats
And dries away the dew that falls at dawn.

Now is the time to wake up
And own the moment
Because now is all we truly own
The power of living in the moment
Is right there in your hands so make a choice.

Is either you chase the dreams
That is right there in your heart
By taking charge of each moment
Because as its comes so likewise
It comes with an opportunity
Now is all we truly own.

The power to live that life
And to come to the full
Essence of our existence
The power of living in the moment
Now is all we truly own.

THE ART OF SLOWING DOWN: FINDING JOY IN THE PRESENT.

In stillness, the world begins to breathe
Moments once blurred now softly seethe
The ticking clock no longer chases
Peace arrives in silent places
Life reveals its hidden crown.

Beneath the noise, the soul takes flight
Unrushed by dawn, unbound by night
No finish line, no race to run
Just open skies and morning sun
A chance to lay all burdens down.

The laughter lives in fleeting seconds
Joy not in what time beckons
In every breath, a sacred gift
In every pause, the soul can lift
Above the rush, beyond the sound.

So slow your steps and raise your eyes
The present holds the truest prize
Let go of what the future steals
And feel the grace the moment yields
For now is where the heart is found.

BAD COMMENTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

Social media has brought so many down
With hateful comments here and there
Everyone wants to be a reporter.

People have power and they do have,
Social media represents our mouth
Hence it is as powerful
As the words that leaves our mouth.

But the words and deeds been projected
On social media these days are disturbing
One words tides can break
A soul and can depress a soul.

One picture been shared
Can break a marriage
Can use it to broadcast false representation
Of their life to serve their followers.

Flaunting things they don't own in real life
Fake life makes a huge part of social media today
Today's social media everyone wants to be a reporter
So they would rather wipe out their phone
To record an incident or an accident
Rather than rendering an helping hand to the victims.

Many have lost
Jobs, relationships and family
Because of their triecious activities
On social media because
Of their bad comments.

FOR EVERY JOURNEY.

There is a price to pay
And there is a prize to be won
Life will take you on a roller coaster
Just like the costa biscuit we eat
Sweet moment will come and better moment too.

Every journey there is a lesson to learn
Some moment will come tearing you apart
That teary tears will spring out from your eyes
From the pain of human's betrayal
With unfine fake affection of show of love.

Life will bring beautiful people into our life
And when we are having our moment
With this beautiful people life sends a short memo
Boom life took them away from us
Leaving us with heart break as life serves us breakfast.

Life journey happens when at the least
Will prepared for it not enough though
Life will just happen that way and life goes on
Some times on the mountain and other deep in the valley
But no matter where life got us at.

Let's embrace life's journey
And flow with it 'cos life
Moment will matters when every moment
Matters so much to us on
Life's journey moment...for every journey.
