Defeating the “But”

I knew many people
Out there in the world today
Are seriously engage in the battle
Of defeating the “but”
Many times they’ve tried and toil
Yet after victory comes defeat

Defeating the “but” means so many things
To many people some can be
Drug, pornography, masturbation
Inordinate desires, stealing, lying
Fornication and adultery the sins of the flesh
Malpractice of various kind the list is endless

Hmmm…the way out
Is still invisible to some yet undiscovered
After many rise comes a fallen
Defeating the “But” is never a thing of the flesh
Cause the flesh we fail it takes an higher power
No one but the help of the almighty the Supreme Being

God give His all for us
To free us al from all the easy beset us
He defeated the power of sin
Two thousand years ago
On Calvary and yet today
That blood still set mankind free

He shed His blood on Calvary
To bring redemption story
Reconciling mankind back to God
See I may not know the “But” in your life
But am here to tell you
When you come to Christ there’s nothing too hard for Him to do

Just accept, believe and confess Him
As your personal Lord and Saviour
Realize your state as a sinners
Confess your sin to Him
Believe that He died because of you
Invite Him into your life to be your Lord and personalSaviour

Leaders of Honour

A leader is someone
Who has the heart for others?
Who are willing to serve?
A servant to all
Others first self last

Not the one who
Has lost their trust
In the sight of their subordinate
Loosing their honour
Just because of not been the shadow of themselves

Leaders with honour
Not leaders without honour
Those who’ve got feelings
Of human within them
A servant to all and sundry

Not to enrich their selfish pocket
Neither to carry on without the followers
Just going all by themselves
Never casting a thought
On others

Not those that doesn’t care
Who careless of others
Wanting something in return
For every thing they do
Rendering lip service an eye service

Leaders of honour
Not leaders of shame
Who bring so much heartache and suffering
To those they lead
As a leader to a follower

A leaders sin is a leading sin
Be careful of how you lead
Cause a mistake may turn out to be
That One careless indecision leads
To careless a life time of damage

The World Stood Still

The world gives room
For that boy (man)…that girl (woman)
Who knows where he/she is going
No one never celebrate a failure but success
The world stands still for that person.

The stood still
Void of it hustle and bustling
It activities has gone to bed
Quietness on everywhere
As the human mind and body take a break

Back there
The world stands as attention
As men goes to rest from its labour
Away from the activities of time
It’s busyness and commercial deals
To a place where the champions
Is celebrated

All roads leads to that event
The event of a life time
What will go down the memory lane
To resound the event
To born and unborn generations to come
The day the world stood still for a man

Not just a mere man
But that man that woman
Who have made it through life’s
Crucial moment
A mark in the sands of time footprint

Go prepare and study
Wait for that day
For your time will come
You’ll surely get there
Then the world will stand still for you
Cause you’re born to reign in life

From Obscurity to Excellence

It doesn’t matter what hour and where you were

Conceived and born but what matters is that you are here

See the world is a big place paradise you can do with

Look up there the sky so white and wide

That you can write your own name on it and fly wide

Because it can take as many as possible

Who dares the impossible situation

See there comes a time when decide and wake from slumber

You have been on the class of average for long

But this is the time to rise from obscurity to excellence

Because you’ve been wandering on the stable of average

And you were not born in the mould house to remain there

You can make it work out from there to mansion

You can say no and tired of everything in life

Is time the time to stand is now

Until you choose to be address in a particular way

That’s when and only when things becomes different

Leave the darkness of the light by becoming a light

A light to live in chasing out all darkness

From obscurity to excellence

Excellence is a virtue wanted by all and sundry

Failing to be let down on the table of obscurity

Break the norms and chase greatness

To outshine the stars because the sky is the starting point

To begin with you have to race off to make sure you get to the finishline

Getting to the finish line

You will never let the circumstances of where you are born

To deter you from reaching out from obscurity to attain excellence

Excellence in all spheres of endeavour make sure

You try and walk the work to make sure you are there

You are there when the light will shine

When those who have made marks in annuals of history

Will stand and forge ahead to bear the touch of greatness

Is all about you make that determination no matter where you are born

To ready to rise from obscurity to excellence

Is in you...you can make it work

Is in you...you can rewrite the story of your life

Is in you...you can forge ahead irrespective of today

Is in you...greatness is a trait showcase by the ones who gut the gurts

From obscurity to excellence you can do it yes you!

Broken Dreams

Many started out in life

With so many aspiration and ambition

Of becoming great in life achieving their goals

As some were seen racing off to attain this

While some never seen or heard anymore

But what happens to that bright chap

Back in the school days what went wrong

Hope will can still see again and discuss

What lead to this young promising chap?

Chicken out from the race

But it was as a result of broken dream

The young bright promising lad

Would have been the best to be reckoned with

But something happen on the way

He dashed out squashing it all out it was a broken dream

Broken dreams

He had and all that dream of becoming this and that

Fade away into the sleep of the night

Nothing seems to matter anymore

As the hope of a hopeless situation surrounds

So many today has lost it all

On the table of storms of life

Has there dreams wonder far from them

Some withstood the arches of life

But dreams got broken along the way and they miss it all out

So my friend I do believe

You too have a dream of that which you want to become

When growing up at that tender and innocent stage

But what went wrong after so many years down the line

They lost it was all gone with the wind the broken dream

Squash, squeeze out of life

To less to nothing now goes about with an empty dream

Because they have allow life cares and worries suck it all out

Out of them suck out that passion, zeal and courage to chase that dream

Turning it to a broken dream busted screw up and wasted away

I pray you find the courage to withstand

When the heat comes not to feel the scourge of the sun

That it will not smitten you when you least expected

Make sure you walk on them what’s your dream and goals

So it won’t result into broken dream only exist in the head not in reality
