If Not For Him

God’s faithfulness can never be undermined
From His works right from the foundation of the world
Everything shows that He is great kind and more than what people say
Of who He is, is ways are mysterious and who is to question that fact
That fact of the one who He is

Because no matter He stands out
Little wonder He is called Erujeje the awesome
The one that has been and will continue to be
The one that has affairs in the reigns
If Not for Him

If not for Him
The world would have laugh at me
The world would have crush down on me
As heavy as the load it seems to be at times
When am almost throwing in the tower He shows up

If not for Him
Many things would have happened
And everything would have fall apart
Like thing fall part but for Him
Each day becomes a new with so much testimonies abound

God’s faithfulness to mankind
Has been since the foundation of the earth
Right from the creation story is still standing sure and steadfast
Generation comes and goes as new ones emerges
Yet God’s faithfulness never changes irrespective of the weather

The storm came but was crush down
As the angry waves comes threaten to swallow
The ship alive the master of the oceans and skies
Command and speak peace to still in the midst of the storm
If not for Him

The world would have asked me
Where is my God has He gone to sleep
Has faith lost its grips on prayer wings?
And calling forth looking back to the good old days
Instead of focusing on the brighter and better days ahead

If not for Him
Everything will have gone with times
And one we become history gone with the winds
Never to be remember anymore
I thank Him because I can’t thank Him enough

How Much Longer

Waiting for that moment
That moment when all be fine
As the moment pass by
The heart is still hoping
Still waiting and yet never knowing when that time will be

How much longer
Will the waiting has to be
Seconds by seconds flies away
Time after time how much longer
Will it take before when it all be said and done

When the night hour is past
In the swift of the night’s sleep
How much longer
We will go to stand and watch all these
Unfold before our own every eye

How much longer
Will the world march on to moral decadence
How much longer
Will time pass by through the needle’s eyes
How much longer will tomorrow seems eternity

Even though hope is losing out
The tiny lines between hope and determination
Has stretched to its limit cannot contain anymore
How much longer will the poor masses bury their head
In the slums of their hope revenging by poverty

How much longer will this exploitation
Will ever end how much longer when all have been said and done
How much longer will there be voice for the voiceless
Has everyone has the equal access to the law
How much longer

The question keep ringing
Loud and long enough with enthusiasm
How much longer, longer enough to wait
And see things are done in its right sense
How much longer will in the name of tradition deprive ones happiness

In keeping faith alive
How much longer...is better you speak out or remain silent
How much longer...you have it all to be the one you want
Silent forever and history will never forgive
Because posterity is out there awaits you to voice out

The Hour Glass Moves On

Moment walk majestically unnoticed
As the world rushes on in its activities
And all weather seems so the same and different
Nothing is new as the activities of time is ticking away
The hour glass moves on

And time fade out and the moment drift off
Off from your eyes and reality comes calling
And you weren’t there to yield the call
As times goes by and swift off from it all
The hour glass moves on

No one unnoticed by it
As it all pass by unnoticed still
And still no one got to really see
That time is fast spent and no one
No one knows when the hour glass moves

The ticking so subtle and so uneasy
Everything is falling in places and no place
Is there to tend to is far gone
Is gone lost out there in a night sleep
The hour glass moves on

Some day your own hour glass
Will come calling at you
It is either you make best use of it
Or better still you move on through life
The hour glass moves on

Of what you look back on
And see that you did not do
The moment everything falls out
And stairs at you on your face
The glasses got messed up broken in shelters

Remember once is broken nothing more
Nothing more is less to be done
Nothing more because the time is past gone
Nothing more when time is been squandered away
The hour glass moves on

For every moment you have
Make use of each of the moment
Bring in your best and make sure it worthwhile
I believe you can make something out of it before
The hour glass moves on get on it

The Moment of Recovery

The journey has been so messy
And everything seems to be fallen out
As nature attest to the fact all is not well
Darkness engage a fist with light
In a broad day light

As conquest seems so afar a distance
It was a journey that destination is far
Far from the one that has it involve in stay
The stay seems so unbearable
So much anguish and pain like of the pain in the neck

Awaits the dawn for so long
And yet the dawn was never in sight
Foresight loosen as nature refuse to give yield
To all the request a failed proposal
Contract not awarded talkless been deliver

In all these all with hope resounding
That someday the moment of recovery will come
Even though not foreseen but strength comes in number
The heart is sick and lost in thought
Awaits the dawn as a ship taken to the slaughters house

The darkness is so obvious
As a tiny light of darkness reflects
Through a tiny line across the darkness
Everything seems fallen apart
With all humanly effort can contain the light to conquest

The issues kept complying
Everything racing to a dead end
Without no hope as the world watch in dismay
Of what will become the whole story?
When the curtain would have been drawn

The cock crow one morning
The sound was coming so silently
As that of the interlude of a music piece
And suddenly the curtain is drawn in twain
The dawn of a new thing the moment of recovery has come

The pain of yester years of yester-night
Pain has come and gone the night is far spent
Dawn has arrived and the moment of recovery
Has finally come everything is over
The moment of recovery
