No One But You

You never created to have a second pair somewhere

But you are just one in the whole universe

No one carries your finger print or your treats

But you are just the one set of finger print all over

No one but you and you alone

Can make history leaving a worthy legacy behind

Charting a course for now and time to come

You have all what it takes in you to make this happen

Never has it been that you are at two places this time

But you are just as one as you see yourself

So why don’t you make the best use of now

The life you have is just one single life of yours

Where you have all what it takes right within you

To make it or mire the beautiful future ahead of you

No one but you has the power to do that

I know a moment will come

When the world will stand aside for that person

Who’s got the power to choose the future of the world

Who got what it takes to chart a new course in the face of modernization

Who is ready to work the walk far into the distant land?

Going as far as deep into the tropical savanna forest

To bring back the lost glory of Mother Nature

Recovering all what was lost due to ignorant and poverty

Has taken away from us returning dignity the price of hard work

No other person but you

See until you see that you are the one

That’s when you will realize that each one of us

Has a part to play in bringing out the best in us

Making the world that place will want it to be

No one but you and you alone

You’ve been the one the world has been clamoring to see

You’ve been the person that the nation is waiting for

You’ve been that agent of change that all wants to see

You’ve been that visionary that will write the vision so clear

You’ve been that one that will break forth a new course

No one else but you and you alone

A Forgotten Child.

Born into the world
so much anticipated after months
of waiting and praying for a child
finally a child arrives
enough celebration...jubilation.

The street in disarray
the people are chanting songs
of happiness there's a feeling
in the air there's a new sensation
a child arrives.

After the years of birth
that child grew from childhood into adulthood
a child left to himself / herself
brings nothing but shame
what a pity; a pitiable state.

From honor to dishonr
ought to bring happiness
but shame a pain in the heart
a child suppose to bring happiness and joy
not a pain in the heart.

A Child Left to Himself/Herself

Charity begins at home
And sometimes ends there
Little things we count as nothing
Destroys a child at the later end
Turning that child to a child left to himself

And a child left to himself
Will someday bring shame
Too heady to contain
Never fears God neither the live God
Himself created

No one can talk nor correct him
When he does wrong things
Always right in his own eyes
Void of rumors for wrong deeds
A child left to himself

One day such a child
Will held his family at ransom
That same family that failed
To correct him/her when he/she
Was going astray down that road

Many parent today has failed
In child upbringing giving such a child
Free hand to do whatsoever he/she wills
Never undermining that one day
That child will leave home for somewhere

And a child that is not well taught at home
Will be taught out there outside the home
That’s when charity begins at home
And it sometimes ends there in the same home
A child left to himself

So parent make the effort
Of knowing who your child is today
Or you’ll regret of knowing him/her
As a total stranger tomorrow
A child left to himself or herself we bring shame

Just You

Some day will all we stand

For something we’ve waited for

Some wanting to do something worth while

Tomorrow is beckoning on each of us all

Everything depends on just you

Whether you will be among

The ones history will reckon with

Or you will be lost out in the fight

Throwing into discouragement

Empty without anything

When the heat will be on

That you throw in the towel

And give up all what you have fought for

In the face of daunting task and discouragement

Of what you will amount to at this time

When each one is racing to make

Marks in the annuals of history records

And you busy wailing away precious time

In wasting and aimless visitation

Just you will get to determine that

Just you got the power to do that

Just you have the source of life in your hands

To live it well or to throw it away

The day is coming when the black goat will get missing

While it is call today search for that black goat now

Just you

Channel a worthy course today

And live that footprint of yours on the sands of time

Never walk away when all seems disappointment

Stay on it until something happen

Just you

Be who you are irrespective of what happens

Be strong in the face of weakness

Be that person history and humanity will never forget in haste

Let God depend you and humanity got your back for real

Just be who you are and stand out from the crowd

The Power of A Dream

I believe that each of us

Has a dream placed in the heart

I’m not talking about wanting to win the lottery

That kind of idea comes from a desire to escape

Our present circumstances never a pursue a heart felt dream

I’m talking a bout a vision

Deep inside that speaks to the very soul

It’s the thing we were born to do

It draws on our talents and gifts

That’s the effect of a dream on an individual

It appeals to our highest ideals

It speaks our feelings of destiny

It is inseparably linked to our purpose in life

The dream starts us on the success journey

To achieve that which we are meant to achieve

The great thing in this world

Is not so much where we are

But in what direction we are moving

This is also one of the great things

About having a dream

You can pursue your dream

No matter where you are today

And what happened in the past

Isn’t as important as what lies ahead

Out there in the future

As the saying goes

No matter what a person’s past may have been

His future is spotless

You can begin today in pursuing your dreams today!

A dream does the following:

A dream gives us direction

A dream increase our potential

A dream helps us prioritize

A dream adds value to our work

A dream predicts our future
