When Death Comes

Life offers us different opportunity
To make life worth living and meaningful
Living out that life we crave for at all cost
Many squandered away that precious opportunity
Wasted and lost away to never replace anymore
As life keeps drifting away from them

They never know that time is ticking away
While they taught they have so many years ahead
The thought of tomorrow never sets into their mind
As each minute pass away no one to redeem it
As each has gone their way chasing an empty shadow

The day is still young while worrying of the dusk of the night
See long let be merry and eat in wantonness of just food and food
Tomorrow may never come just as they taught
They fail to see that they’ve got just only today to life for tomorrow
The future never in sight the view of wasting it only what they know

Of what use is time to them nothing
As their mates were busy working their hands to the bone
While others are busy burning the night candle
They are busy sleeping on the bed of laziness
Eating away the bread of idleness

Life is what you make out of it
Tomorrow may mean goodbye
What will the world remembers you for
A wasted aimless and no nothing life that you’ve lived
Or the best life that was worth living for

Tomorrow our soul may lie
From beauty will left sleep by
O soul then are you prepared sweet heavenly shore
Tomorrow may mean goodbye
Live a life that counts both for now and eternity

One day history will be made
One day the roll will be called up yonder
One day your name will be attached with ‘late’
And you are gone to never exist again
What will your days the world remember you for
Screwed and a used up body for God and mankind
