TO MY FELLOW COUNTRY MEN 'N' WOMEN.

Stay safe out there
9ja ninja is really boiling
No one knows where to go
As the nation is under unrest
To my fellow country men and women.

A lot is happening
Of which we all are seeing and feeling
The feeling of want here and there
Even we're living in the midst of so many resources
To my fellow country men and women.

Yet our leaders
Are calling for our patience
In the midst of holding on to their words
Of being patience that all we soon be fine
The economy will pick and inflation we go.

But we see this same leaders of our land
Spending the nation's treasure at will
Buying all manners of flits of cars and jet inclusive
And when the citizen air their views they come for them
Yet we all say we are a democrat state, how true is that?

My fellow country men and women
It wont be long we'll be leaving here
To the promise land our leaders promise us
But is it until death take over our land
Then who will now be the citizens that will get to the promise land.

TO FATHER'S.

Who man up
Inspite of life challenges
Who forge ahead head long
To always goes the distance
For the family.

To father's
Who work round the clock
To make end meats for the whole house
Who make sure everything is in check and place
Whose heart beats is always at home with the family.

To father's
Who honour and dignity is still intact
Irrespective of the temptation faced
As he embarks on every task of fending for the family
Working legitimately to make the family work.

To father's
Whose love for the family
Can not be undermine by any circumstances of life
Who leads and direct in love and patience
Creating a good atmosphere at home for all.

To Father's
Who leads the home
In the fear of the Lord
Handling a life legacy to the family
Of building their relationship with God.

To father's
Who work behind the scene
Of making their wife a woman to reckon with
Paving a great way for the kids to have good things of life
From spirituality, to their social mental life.

DEMOCRACY IN THE FACE OF FRICTION.

Not just a selected words
For just a selected few
From the barricade of democracy
To the corridor of powers
It all boils down to democracy.

To what end is democracy
When the democrat nation
Is not practicing democracy in its entirety
And yet we went on headlong
To celebrate been a democrat state.

Yet we are not close
To its practice and dictates
Of what a democracy should be or look like
Where the nation is suffering
On fear hearing of views and opinions.

No longer for the people
Nor by the people
But under fear of freedom of speech
You air your view you’re taking down
Democracy without friction.

Is this what it’s all about?
With friction aren’t there friction now
You seat in power
You become so powerful
And act at will as if you own the whole federation of the state.

Alas this our own democracy
Is not nothing close to democracy
But a democracy in the faction of friction
There are so many friction
That needs to be flushed out of our nation’s system.

If truly we want to be and seen
As a democrat nation in which
Is for the whole of the citizens of the state
Not one selected people acting as the nation is theirs
Democracy in the face of friction.

TEACHERS OF LIFE.

Life a teacher
Lesson learnt are made for a purpose
Letting go at times becomes so hard
Life happens and things happens
That teaches one about life.

From the knock
From the school of hardknock itself
To the life on the street
That takes survival to survive it all
Teachers of life.

From life event
That orchestrated our existence
Into what we have today and still have tomorrow
Life comes in season
Sometimes we learn in simple way other times so hard.

With the pain of regretting
While procrastination ensue
Long while we fail to take yield
To the serious warning signs
Teachers of life warns us.

Not to be what life really want us
But to go with the lessons of life
So we can live the life void of regret
And pain of not doing what we ought
To do while the lesson of life teaches us about life.

GOD, FAMILY, SURVIVAL.

In the heart's quiet whisper, where dreams softly nod
Lies the essence of hope, the presence of God
In trials and triumphs, His light gently streams
Guiding our footsteps, igniting our dreams
His love, a beacon, through life’s stormy seas
Bringing solace and grace, a soul's sacred ease.

In the embrace of family, where love’s roots grow deep
Lie the moments we treasure, the memories we keep
Through laughter and sorrow, together we stand
Hand in hand, heart to heart, a united band
In the circle of kin, we find strength anew
In their unwavering love, our spirits renew.

Survival’s harsh whisper, a relentless tide
Tests our resolve, where the strongest abide
Through valleys of shadow, and mountains we climb
Each step a testament to enduring time
In resilience, we rise, like the morning sun
In the dance of survival, battles are won.

God’s grace, family’s love, survival’s keen art
Three threads intertwine, woven in the heart
In faith, we find courage, in kin, we find cheer
In endurance, we triumph, dispelling our fear
Life's tapestry rich, with these threads so entwined
In this trinity sacred, true peace we find.

So let us cherish this triad divine
God, family, survival, in life’s grand design
With faith as our anchor, love as our guide
We journey together, with hearts open wide
Through trials and blessings, in unity we stand
Crafting our story, hand in loving hand.

LABOUR IN THE EYES OF THE NATION.

I wish labour could labour enough
As to not allow the labour of our fatherland
Be invain in the fight for the masses
To really put sentiment aside
And stood their ground for the common man.

I wish labour could go the distant
March the march towards
A claiming the new minimum wages
Enforced by the union of Federal government
Making it a worthy course.

Not in favour of this or that
But in favour of all the citizens
In the land of our fatherland
That our motherland we beats her chest
And be proud of labour for a job well done.

I wish labour
Could do enough
By putting self Sekfishness aside
In this battle of just beyond the minimum wages
To betterment of life of fellow citizens.

NOW AS A NATION.

Are will at the verge of collapsing
Or we are at the peak of greatness
For how long shall go on this tread
Will see it in the news every now and then
The nation is not smiling at all.

Now as a nation
Can we say we are on the track
For breathing a fresh new air
Or heading to the rekindling
Of a renewed hope that was aired many months ago
On all platforms during the time of election.

As a nation
Can we say we have come of age
We see the news flying up and down
Every now and then the NLC (labour)
Are always at longer head with every administration
But after so many a long battle they gave in.

They got bribe and they shut up their fowl loud mouths
As everyone goes back to their office
While long they have forgotten the march of protest
Either against hardship in the land or increase in minimum wages
Now as a nation.

Will are here again
Same spot we where years ago
In the previous administration
Now they have lost their voice
And now seeing as a toothless bull dog.

Now as a nation
Where do we headed
The NLC (labour) has failed and still failing
As the nation keeps failing to rotten stage
Like a rotten tomato drunk by corruption.

STORMY WATER.

Through every storm water
Through every dishearten moment
Through many disappointment
Through many wants and needs
Through the storm and night thunder storms.

Through so many critics and talkdown
Through so many bad mouthing
Through the so much talk from mortals
Through the dark night of life
Through the storms of night cloud life.

Through all these
Through the catar punch of life
Through the billows rolls from all side
Through the yester years of life trails
Through the storms of life failure.

Through stormy water
The floods of life that came
The ocean current that shock life absorber
Through the experience into the deep water in the valley
The peak of the mountain top I suffice.
