THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED

Sound of the keyboard fading
So faintly the sound projection too harsh
The voice gone not been hard so faintly
The string instrument with broken string
One after the other

The orchestras lacking behind
With no skills left any more
With its music not pleasant to the ear
Any more as it was in the early days
Gone with the winds. Oh what a pity

Where is all the good music?
That touches, the heart breaking
The spirit asunder healing the wounded heart
It has goon too soon…the day the music died!
The day the music size to be

What it use to be
Was the day the music died?
It harmony and melody with good lyrics
Are no more, what have we done to music?
