Deserted Village

Empty without anything
As each one has gone there own way
The street wearing loneliness
Everyone to his tenth they’ve gone
Deserted village

No peace as each one runs
For safety the land is accuse
The people are screaming out
No one is safe anymore
As caution is thrown into the wind

We becoming stranger at home
The system has failed us
As we’ve lost faith in them all
As a walk corpse sleeping with the enemies
Deserted village

The land is stain with innocent blood
Here the sound someone else is down
Whose next see them as they walk around
The person seating down is scared of the next person
Everyone is a suspect in the deserted village

Every second a plot is plotted
A plan is hatched who’s the next
Where is the next point of attack?
Everyone is trying to save his/her heads
The crime kept raising the village looks so deserted

With hope no rising
With insecurity at the height of verging
We’ve lost it all where is it?
But wait first how do will loose it
Everyone is running no one wants to wait

The deserted village

Talking Without Action

So much has taken place
We’ve sat down over 72 hours
Yet nothing fruitful has been achieved
The sector is still the same way
It has been where we are going

We need a change
A re-brand from the old self
Come forth with a new forms of ideas
There has been so much has been said
So much talk but no action

Re-brand for a new feelings
We come across so many
Spoken words as each day goes by
On the radio, television
Print and non-printing

So many outbursts of ideas
As opinions are been sampling
The power of words comes into play
The so much awaited reformation
Alas the reformation of words we experience

Talking without action
Futility of endless board meetings
72 hours of so much probost talk
Series of discussion as the atmosphere
Is filled with so much confused noise

Vocabulary been unleash
As everyone tries to out march
His or her rival with the weapon of mass destruction
The arsenal of vocabulary
Talking so much without action

Minutes after seconds
Zooming as a cheater into hours
Nothing is worth while just waste of public funds
Talk, talk no where are going to
Yet we are still where we are
Enough of talking without action

Deficit of Trust

EurekaImage by valiant ho via Flickr
For decade we’ve have them
We have gone in together
As we walk pass each other
Rubbing minds and shoulder
So much trust we’ve hard in them

After sometime
As tragedy struck
The truth came to limelight
And the faith was lost
On that fateful day hmmmm

There comes a reformation
Eureka! The nation is awake
An awaken of independent
From falsehood and been in the dark
There was a deficit of trust

Has the person discovered the truth?
Wow alas the veil has been removing
They have finally lost faith in the government
Because the government has failed on her part
Nowthe nation (citizens) are awaken
From the slumber of mediocrity and the veil in their eyes
Has fallen off the hook…and now there’s a deficit of trust

They fail below expectation
They have lost their place in the public eyes
The remote has lost it holds on them all
Finally there’s a resounding fresh new feeling
As everyone wants to know what is happen
With the trust the mandate of the people now count
That trust has got deficit in it

Kill Corruption not Nigerians

No CorruptionImage by Ann Douglas via Flickr
So much killing
So much hate
Political masterminding in the land
Intoxicated by power
Kill corruption not Nigerians

We must see ourselves
As brothers and sisters
Not a stranger neither a rival
We must say no to corruption
Fighting to finish flush out corruption

Corruption in our land
Is the order of the day
We must arise stand tall say no
We’ve got to kill corruption not Nigerians
Say No to killings of our brothers and sisters

Say yes kills corruption
Let us bring out the posters
Of obituary of corruption
Nailing it on every walls in every sector
The home, church, school and the government
Let us arise and yield the call

So kill corruption not Nigerians

To destiny I am never gonna be anybody
All I’ll do is to stick to my aim.

Come rain come sun to never to give up
In this life am born to be the best
Number one and nothing less
Lead me to my destiny
I have waited patiently
I have vision oh I believe
I know I can count on you Lord

To lead me through
Be my guide and I’ll be your son
Hold my hands don’t let me fall
Be with me in all my way
As I make decision guide me
Never let me to lean on the arms of flesh
I made wonderfully made…Born to rule

Born to rule…Born to reign
Taking charge of my world
A world shaker an agent of change
‘Cos within me instill the spirit of greatness
I know I can I can be what I want to be
In this life without no exception
Cause am Born to rule

Born to rule
Born to reign
Born to dominate
Born to make it in life
Am a winner never a failure

Worth of inestimable price

Watch out for me
Am having the backing of God
I’ll fear what no foes can do to me
If God be with me who is that being…

Let it Shine

If I tell you how I came this far
And all the things that I’ve been through
Need I tell you that I been to hell
I’ve seen it all and done it all

Growing up as a child wasn’t easy
Had to work twice as hard I was busy
God was my inspiration everyday
There was words for every situation

Let me tell you how I got this far
And all the pain I had to bear
We used to hawk and do mina jobs
Life’s so unfair that’s how it is

Hopeless and useless
That’s what they said
Mum use to tell me
No room for failures everyday a new drama

I know you don’t feel you have a reason to shine
You’re giving up because of what you are going through
There’s no better way to explain to you
The world has a place for you shine
I know you are a star and meant ton shine

Don’t let anyone shun you down
Because you are meant to shine
You’re a shooting star like a diamond
A gold refine to its solid state
That’s how it is and that’s what you are

Battered and be weathered by the storm shine
Dejected and downcast by men shine
Things not working out as planned shine
As you watch your dreams not coming through shine
The storm raging and it seems it will sallow the ship alive shine

No matter what happen shine
Forget yesterday live for the moment
Bringing back tomorrow with hope
Live and shine where you are
You are a shinning star
