Looking Forward to the Crown

The cross before the victory
The cross before the crown
Be ever watchful and looking forward
To the price before us all
Looking forward to the crown

As Christians lives in this world
We are abound to face challenges
The heat is on as the war rages
Distraction of the noise of the war
Looking forward to the crown

The world marches on
As she march on to indecency
Marching onward to modernity
In quest of fashion and entertainment
Looking forward to the crown

Every side everywhere
To the extent the church has come to resemble
The world in which she exist
The cross before the crown
Looking forward never let anything to deter you

As Christians await the return
Of the their Lord
Some are becoming weak
The deal all along everyone is falling off
Looking forward to the crown

The crowd behind you
Looking forward is the crown
No matter how intense the tempter tries
Make up your mind no matter what
The crown will get to you

Only Two ‘Finished Strong’

Israel waited for forty years
To enter the land because
Ten guys who had started strong
Ten guys had seen God
Send the plagues to Egypt

Ten guys who had seen God
Open the Red sea for them and their families
And then close it on Pharaoh’s army
Then guys who had seen God
Work time and time again on their behalf

Freaked out because the land
Contained some very powerful tribes and fortified cities
In other words, the ten had a greater
Fear of man than they did of God
Only two finished strong

And this was after all mind
Boggling miracles God had performed
Before their eyes
Fear is the sand of machinery of life
A whole generation perished in the bleak of sand

The problem is, no one
But God can look into man’s heart
You can bet that each of these ten guys
If they were around today, would be
At the church faithful every Sunday morning and night

You see, it’s endurance
That spate the men from the boys
It’s endurance that determines
Whether or not a man will finish strong
And endurance is the fruit of godly character

The Christian life isn’t a hundred yard dash
It’s a marathon
It’s a long race and long races don’t required speed
They require
Grit, determination and finishing power...Hebrew 12:1-2

You may be reading this and thinking
That it’s too late for you to finish strong
You’ve made some mistake some big mistakes
You may think you could never finish strong
Will you be that two that will finish strong out of the crowd?

A Dying Mother

Diagnosed of an internal illness
Report sounded as death life sentence
She was cold and become thinking of it
When the news struck on her hearing
Few months to live and with kids to look out for

She got few months to live
In line with the doctors report
As she prepares to wind down her life
In readiness to meet the evening of her life
She got to show so much love to her children

As she tries everything not to stay off from their side
Take them on a work as they stroll down the street
Making sure the last scene of she and her wards
Was captured in a sweet memory that can never be lost over a long while
A dying mother...few months to go off her kids

Looking desperately and disturb
Of what it will be when she is gone
She told her husband the doctor’s report
He was cold and can’t stand the demise of her exist
A dying mother

Every morning she hug her kids tight to her embrace
She gets them ready for school each morning walking them down to the school bus
As she gave undivided attention to her kids
Because she got few moment in some couples of month to live
Dying and leaving her loved ones behind

As she begins to train them
To live without her and do some certain things themselves
Equipping them to face the necessary challenges
That they may seems to encounter as they live their lives without her
A dying mother revenging by cervical cancer

...hmmm
“Sometimes even after your mind
knows so much of the universe
it still listens to your heart,
maybe someday science will release
that what our heart says is the real truth
maybe when we die we do become stars and watch from above”.
