Healing to the Nation

So many things
So many events and occasion
So many heartaches
So many disappointments
So many betrayers

So many things befalling the land
As if the nation is accursed
By the ancestral spirit if they real exist
To have affairs in the mortal world
The nation needs healing

So many events and occasion
Heart disheartening moment recorded
And no one knows who is next or what is next
Everyone is living in fear of the next seconds
Everyone is suspect who as insecurity prevails in the land
What kind of healing does the nation needs?

So many heartaches
That torn everyone inbetween two words
The pain of loosing a dear one in all this that attack the land
The fear of dying not to see tomorrow
So many heartaches that left the wounded unhealed
Healing from all these menace that’s what the nation needs

So many disappointments
When seeking for post in the government house
A lot of long list of political manifestos
After the conquest at the pooling boot
Now you are in the office you won you have heard it all our votes

Oh Lord We Ask for Our Nation

A nation once witness so plenty
Where there is joy so much happiness
A nation that was of envy of her neighbor around
Where will got so much and still stretch hands to give out
A nation where strangers feels at home

Raise your voice and say a prayer
Just a prayer there is still a balm in glair
We must seek to rise up alters in our houses
To turn around the situation of our country
Holy Spirit come down and spread forth the healing balms

Let light cross every corners and every area
From the strength to Lagos to Lafia
That the light of peace and truth will shine forth
As the dawn breakforth without no one to stop it
Heal our land from these all that troubles l

We want to build a nation
Where will can close our eyes when will go to sleep
Will can do business without the fear of running losses
Everyone becoming a watchdog for his neigbour
This is the kind of the nation will ask of You Lord

A nation where justice peace equity reigns
Where our leaders are cautious of the masses
Having instill in them all the heart of a leader
As a leader is one who has a heart for others
Oh Lord we ask for our Nation

We want to build a nation where peace and justice reigns
Were we can be at home not like a stranger at home
Were no matter how far we go throught the length of the world
We’ll still have that longiong of returning home after so much journey
Were we are proud of our motherland flying the flag of our nation so high

A nation where we believe in her
As the dawn rises we lift our voices and say God bless this our nation
It goes a long way to rejuvenate the spirit of patriotism
Say a prayer for our dear nation
What is that request you will ask God for about our dear Nation

A Nation Where Things Work

A leader who will not steal because of he will be caught
Citizens that will go to the hospital for medical attention
And knowing fully such attention he will get for his health
A system where everything is working out and working to fall apart
A nation where things work

Where are no more seen as an instrument
Of mass distortion, destruction of the nation co-peaceful existence
Where everyone held up high shoulder high against the monster
Call corruption of whatever form at every quarter
A nation where things work

That is the kind of nation where we seek to see
As we march on from one transition of government to another
The out going administration must seek to leave a worthy footprint
For the new in coming administration serving as a blue print to work on
A nation where things work

Where all our systems are up and doing
Right from the educational system to the infrastructure
Make sure everything is really work not a mere ghost existing
Void of rendering and meeting up to its essence of creating such
A nation where things work

A nation where things work
A judicial system isn’t in favour of whose got the big bag to offer
An education accessible by all irrespective of financial and social status
Where there is equity of all in the eyes of the law
Where we see ourselves as brother not rivals

A nation where things work
Where the heart is at home
Not feeling like a stranger in our own home
Where we go to bed with our two eyes close
A nation where the resources is for all not for selected few individuals

The Nation It Begins with You

Great lofty height attained
To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign
That is the nation we seek to have not just a mega kind of state
Am not calling for a second chance but am calling for agent of change
That will wake up to nation building redeeming back the nation
From what has been deprive her of development for ages

See if you are out there and you care at all
Of the nation of which you are a citizen
Am asking you to rise to the call for us
To move from mediocrity not start reasoning
And preparing for that future we want to see our nation

Am not saying to hall an ill-reform without last reformation
That will outlive its reformers long time ago when they’ve gone
But am calling on revolutionaries who expect thing in return
See the nation has been this way for long and we can’t just afford
To go on and on as if nothing is happening at all

There’s a cry out there in the cities, societies and highways
Everywhere we turn to there’s an earnest plea for nothing but change
Within and without in every sectors of our life as a nation
Am not seeking for some collective view of some people
But all what am asking is for a new course that is channel with passion

The passion to change the old long status quo
Reverberating and reawaken the mind to reason for change
Am speaking for the one out there who has gone through a lot
Faith is lost in the government of the day that spirit of patriotism is lost
While must this just continue all the way

When we will arise to the call to nation building
Don’t you know that nation building is your responsibility?
Just as the your civic right to pay your taxes
Am not calling for complainers, critics and fault finders
Be it on air, print media and visual medias

To build a nation where everything is working out big time
To build a nation where peace, equity, calmness and justice prevail
To build a nation where political manifesto is taken with utmost care off
To build a nation where everyone wants to be hard free hearing
To build a nation where each one sees that the right thing is done
To see that nation me, you we’ve got to work: it begins with you
