Ungrateful

DSC_0057-Edit.jpgImage by Marty.FM via Flickr

We strive to make a living
And try to work hard
Just to be at the top
The people we work for
With faithful heart
Seems not to appreciate it

Sometimes our heart are disturb
Our life are question
And it seems the work should be stop
God gives me the grace
To make the right decision

Working yourself out
So tired and warn out
Yet never been appreciated
But stabbed at the back with blackmail
Ungrateful

Send money to the bank different account
Fuel the generator
Dealing with finance system of the business
Build a rapport with all the clients
Left to run the business alone for days
All these with no little of supervision

You see!
So ungrateful after all this
Never been appreciated but blackmail
Like a knife pierced into the heart
So hurting and devastating

That’s why I often say this
Is not good to be good
Cause the good you do today
Will be forgotten tomorrow
All because of experience with employers

Ungrateful
They pretend and praise in your eyes
Behind you they kill you
Remember rumor are spread so easily
Don’t just believe what you hear until you ask the person in question ok.

Blackmail

DSCF5194Image by Koala:Bear via Flickr

It is required a steward
That he should be found faithful
In all things no matter how small
Faithfulness is expected from all
This was is motto

Out of your heart
You work so faithfully
With honesty and integrity
Your watchword
Faithfulness to the core

But after much years and month
Of been faithful in the course
Of discharging your duties blackmail
Just emerge out of no where unreal stories
About you while you’re gone…hmmm is somehow

Duties discharge with utmost caution
So conscious about his actions and deals
In relating to client and not client
All along been faithful in all things
Be it punctuality, finance, statement of each day’s transaction

After much has been done
So much years and month
Coming up with manners of untrue tales
Saying all manner of things
Blackmail…But wait! First

The good you do today
Will be forgotten tomorrow
Is there any point at all doing good
Cause after you’ve done good
You get stab at the back

That’s it blackmail
Everywhere in the office
Everywhere filled with untrue stories
Blackmailing their stuff when they’ve left
He stole…He tells lies
He’s not honest…He never been early to work
So untrue stories…blackmail

Wake Up

Adirondack ShelterImage via Wikipedia

What will do or how will you feel?
When one day you wake up
And you realize you’ve been left behind
Long ago while your friends have gone
So far in their various pursuit in life
Living in the past still on the same spot

Ten years from today
Where will you be?
Living in the past still stagnate like
Unmoving water in one place
Not flowing neither going forward or backward
Still there whiling away time wasted life wasted years

When he was born
The world rejoice a child is born
But after the years of celebration and rejoicing
That child still romp the street carrying the face of a vagabond
With regret of indecision and procrastination
Wasting away living an aimless life void of dream

You been sleeping for long
Still on that same spot
Wake up is time to wake from the slumber
Stop building castle in the air
Footprint are not made seating down
If you want to be recognize you must lean to study hard

Wake up and move is time
This is the time to start
With what you have never wait
For God knows who start from some where
And you’ll get there defiantly you sure do
The journey of a thousand mile starts with a step

Thou it won’t be that easy
Life is never a bed of roses
Sweet moment will come
And bitter moment will come
But wait that’s not the reason for you to go astray
Responsibility is the price of greatness

Wake up…until you’re loaded that’s when you be needed.

Believe it starts within

Achievers are people
Who do their home work very well

The goal to achieve what no one has achieved
In this life

So work out early
Never deferring for an hour
Whatsoever thy hands finds to do
Do it with all thy might
Hard work never kills
It strengthen the mind

His philosophy is Oliver Goldsmith
Where determination is predominate
Failure cannot dismantle the flag of success
Have aspiration cause with it seas are cross

Never make friends with laziness
Procrastination the thief of time
Fear it cripples the mind makes vision dim
Lost focus and foresight
Until you get to the Finish Line

Focus on the Prize

LONDON - JULY 04: The English National Ballet...Image by Getty Images via @daylife

If you really know
Where you are going to
You don’t have to give a dam
Of what people say or do
Focus inspite of criticisms
Look away and act as if they are not there

Never allow the opinion
Of those around you
To direct the space of your life
In life if you want to be someone
You’ve got to cast deaf hear
To those who wants to pull you down

As you go through life
In pursuit of your goal
Achieving the purpose and aim
Of you existing on the surface
Of this planet earth
You’ve got to forget negative news about you

Or else you will end up
Becoming nothing
For your family, nation and yourself
To go far in life listening
To useful advice and turn down
The negative advice

Act right and say no
Against drug abuse…against youthful lust
Against malpractice…against injustice
Indecent dressing…corruption
Be focus have aspiration
Dream so big build your own paradise

Take charge of situation
Let and make things happen
Come out from your comfort zone
And reach beyond limitation
Focus on the prize
Inspite the set backs and problem
The storm is over now…the dream has come true

Have Done My Best
Am never going to get frustrated
Or feel bad about the situation
Cause have done my best
Have sold myself out
Pushing myself to that point
Beyond limit no am not

Never will I cry or feel bad
Not a shadow of tomorrow
Can hunting me any more
If the worst thing happen
The storm close down on me
Friends and family are gone

Hope becomes slim
The glimpse of glory fade away
Into the tiny air consume by the wind
Set backs and disappointment
Am not gone loose hope
What I we do is to forget the past
Looking away from mortals to the immortal

Shutting my eyes
From human being cause they are there
But when you need them most
They are gone they don’t worth my tears
Never will I but I will just do as if
They’ve never exist am not that kind

Am not going to blame any
For all what I go through in life
In time past have depend on them
For job, finance, assistant and love
But no one was there all I got
Disappointment and unfulfilled promises

I’ll succeed without them
With God the immortal one
I scale through the storm
Inspite of what the immortal do
I study, prepare and work
Cause one day someday today my day will come
Have done my best leaving the rest for the immortal one.
Am Not Going to Cry
Some times as a writer
Is difficult for me as a person
To live up to what I write
When I consider the problems
Here and there facing me as person
When life is seems is full of disappointment
Your shelter dreams make you question why?

When It All Been Said and Done!

Lord Ardilaun - Sir A.E. GuinnessImage via Wikipedia

Someday you’ll close your eyes
To bid this world goodbye
As you draw your last breathe
And your body will be laid to dust
Attach in front of your name
Is a title “late” while you are gone

How will it be that day
When friends well wishers and family
Are all gathered at your funeral
With everyone has something to say about you
What will be said and written when you’re gone
When it all been said and done

There is nothing that matters
Do you do your best for your Lord
Or live for truth do you spent and be spent
For God and man what impact has your life done
Here on earth for God’s glory and for man
Someday you’ll close that eyes

With an open arms seized breathe
Laying low peacefully in the casket
That bears your body lifeless on the floor
As you are lied in state last respect
Before you’re drop down six feet
When it all been said and done

Farwell to the busyness of life
To rest from the world’s activity
What will matter then while you are gone
Of what life will be to you
When it all been said and done
What matters now will not matter anymore

Long while you’ve close your eyes
Long while you’ve been laid in that casket
Long while your grave has been dig
Long while you’ve left the mortuary to the cemetery
Long while you’ve been drop below the six feet
Long while you’ve kiss the dust

How will it be? When it all been said and done…

The Passion of a Writer

Aug 04 - Change the World or er stay at homeImage by Rog42 via Flickr

As I work along the street
I see people as I journey
From place to place
And I ask myself what can I do
To ravage the present situation
Of the way people spend this only one life

Then I thought I can do something
Instead of listening to people
Who goes on with these saying
“What can I do” something has to be done
To add value to this life around
Walking aimlessly wasting away

Then I say I will impact the change
The world is serious and ardently
Searching for by contributing my own quota
To a verge the situation of things on hand
Before it will get out of hands
I know of a truth there are many writers out there

Readers are leaders
If you are not inform you’ll be deform
Great men and woman read
If not they won’t attain that status where
They are today not just words but words
That change their life for good

From nobody to somebody
From nothing to something
From an article of no commercial value
To an inestimable tangible asset
Because of what they read and making use of it
So am out there to impact and inform changing live

The passion of writer
He/she never sees limitation
Changing life for God and good
Is the aim influencing life
Giving life a meaning worth living
That’s it the passion of a writer

Written is what I like to do
With so much joy and enthusiasm
My own way to brighten
The corner where I am
My love for written so much encompasses
My passion bored out of a dream

Everything I come across
Wanting to be heard out there
Talking about life its up’s and there
Am passionate about it and I’ll don’t
Just write because I have something to say
But to impact inform and motivate

To change the world
I have got to keep written
Keep painting feeding the soul
With thought provoking result oriented articles
Inspired to motivate leading the space
For others to follow

I don’t write because
I have something to say or write
I write cause I wan to touch as many life
As possible I can before I call it a day
I don’t want to write and fade away with time
Becoming history but a live in the heart of many

Long while have gone

But to touch life helping them discover
Why they exist that they never born by mistake

Days of Glory

River Bann at Milltown, Lenaderg. After flowin...Image via Wikipedia

So much we’ve laboured for years
The days when we stood out of the crowd
Respected by all and sundry
Our reputation was overwhelming
Always on top

The happening of the season
Both in printing and electronic medias
On every lips, heart and tongue
So was those days the days of glory
Where our self-esteems are high

After those years the days of glory
The booming economy good political system
An efficient well functioning government
Naira have is value not valueless
A nation we long and like

That always we can’t wait to be home
Our heart yarn for home our country
But how is it today?
Our nation her Days of Glory
Think on this…

Good government after independent
Good policy in place
Good and efficient means of power
Better hope for tomorrow
No one thought of running away
To another man’s land in a foreign land

These are our days of Glory
What have we done?
To those good old days of our beloved country
Looking back when it all began
How is it today…living in the past testimony?
Ex-glory

This Is Your Land

Flag of NigeriaImage via Wikipedia

Did anyone ever told you
Did anyone ever say
Do you capture the vision
Of a new Nigeria
Span over the distant land
North, east, south and west

The green tropical forest
Seas, ocean, spring
The savanna forest
Nature’s gift oil and landscape
Did anyone ever tell you
This is your land

So you have no other land
Else where this is your home
The place of your adoption
Born and brought up here
A home for you
This is your land

You can’t avoid to fail
Your country…the generation ahead
You’ve got to wake up
Start working towards
That country you desire cause
This is your land

Do you capture the new face of Nigeria
Do you want things to work out fine
The light during the night 24/7
Good road and water
Well put in place educational systems
Strict adhere to the rule of law

Do you? If yes
You’ve got to believe
If you want the change
It begins with you and I
No one from anywhere can do that
This is your land

Lets build a nation
Not tear it down
We’ve got a vision
We can make Nigeria shine
Lets fix it up

Lets fix it up
By abstaining from all
Shaded dealings fraud of all kinds
Washing our hands off corrupt practice
Yes we can make it reality

Lets fix it up
Saying no…act right
Against drug abuse
Against corruption
Against unemployment

Lets fix it up
Recovering back the lost glory
Of our dear nation
Ravaging the situation of the country
You and I

Lets fix it up
This is not the time
Of religious sentiment
Nepotism and tribalism
Lets put our differences aside

Where are the October 2nd generation
These calls for a clarion call for them
No one else can fix up Nigeria for us
But we as Nigerians this is our land
We can make Nigeria work
We can make it regain its lost glory

Lets fix it up
Brining in the best of brain
Saying no and act right
We can believe again it starts within
If you’re ready we can change Nigeria

Forget The Failed Years

The 'Okada' is a motorcycle in NigeriaImage via Wikipedia

We can change this country
We can call back the hands of time
Back to how it all started October 1st 1960
Those early years when will started
Void of war, corruption and kidnapping
Forget the failed years

And lets focus on today
The October 2nd generation
Leaving the October 1st generation
Lets do something now
Stop seating down and folding our arms
Saying what can I do? What can we do?
Yes we can make Nigeria shine again

Forget the failed years
Lets put our hands together
To fix a new face of Nigeria
Nigeria must be build by Nigerians
No one else can do that for us
Thou things would have gone so wrong

Leaders have failed us
Dribbling us these past years
Just due to selfish motive
Enriching their own pocket
For how long are will going to seat down
Complaining about the people in government

Since four years back
You’ve been complaining
Has things okay
Are not still on the same spot
Years ago
Forget about the failed years

You are the October 2nd generation
Independent has come and gone
Now you’re the one that will effect that change we need
In our government, citizen, education and economy
How? By forgetting the failed years
We can begin again you and I
Forget the failed years

Stand Up and Be Counted

SunsetImage by naomi Cherie :) via Flickr

If you’re out there
And you are sick and tired
Of what is going on in this country
Frustration on your face
The situation is eaten you up
Killing you within heartaches

Disappointed of the nation’s state
The people that channels the course of the nation
And if you’re there and you dares for change
Is time to ravage the situation in the country
This is the time to stand and be counted
Nigeria must be built by Nigerians

Believe again we can make it happen
We can make Nigeria shine
Lets come together and work out things together
Lets forget about the past mistakes of the past
Leaving the past with the past
Breaking away from it looking for the way forward

Stand up and be counted
Lets save Nigeria
Saying no to corruption
Letting fairness and integrity
To become our watch world
Wherever we are found

Shun bribe
Shun cultism
Shun fighting
Shun evil association
Shun raging of election result
Shun embezzlement of public funds

Upheld the rule of law
Upheld fairness and free hearing
Upheld truthfulness and faithfulness
Upheld honesty and integrity
Stand and say no against tribalism nepotism and connection
Stand up Nigerians and build Nigeria
Running away and folding of hands can’t solve the problem
Neither fault finding stand up and be counted with God Naija go better

Where Do Will Go From Here?

Logo created for Nigeria Vision 2020Image via Wikipedia
Enough headlines
With so much thought provoking speeches
Articles are filled on everywhere online and offline
So much celebration occasion and events
Are filled up on every societies, Internet: Facebook so much comment
Forums and program commiserating the celebration
Where do will go from here?

After independent in October 1, 1960
Then and now how has it been?
Have we not move from one spot to another
Today, have we successfully retain the labour
Of our hero’s past are they not yet in vain
Look at the state of the nation toady
Then and now how is it today?

Where do will go from here?
Is it nothing to you
About the state of the nation
Where are we going?
Where do will see Nigeria
In the next 20-20 years to come?

Yes we as a state we’ve
Attain a golden jubilee of a truth
Restoration of the past
Are will not still living in the past glory
Of yester years October 1st 1960
Where do will go from here?

After independent
What next?
Where do will go form here?
A question to ponder on
We can’t deceive ourselves for long
Moving forward, backward or been stagnant, which one?

Remember will have a date with history
We can’t afford to fail
We must keep that date
By all means no matter what?
The question now is
Where do we go from here?
