The Moment of Recovery

The journey has been so messy
And everything seems to be fallen out
As nature attest to the fact all is not well
Darkness engage a fist with light
In a broad day light

As conquest seems so afar a distance
It was a journey that destination is far
Far from the one that has it involve in stay
The stay seems so unbearable
So much anguish and pain like of the pain in the neck

Awaits the dawn for so long
And yet the dawn was never in sight
Foresight loosen as nature refuse to give yield
To all the request a failed proposal
Contract not awarded talkless been deliver

In all these all with hope resounding
That someday the moment of recovery will come
Even though not foreseen but strength comes in number
The heart is sick and lost in thought
Awaits the dawn as a ship taken to the slaughters house

The darkness is so obvious
As a tiny light of darkness reflects
Through a tiny line across the darkness
Everything seems fallen apart
With all humanly effort can contain the light to conquest

The issues kept complying
Everything racing to a dead end
Without no hope as the world watch in dismay
Of what will become the whole story?
When the curtain would have been drawn

The cock crow one morning
The sound was coming so silently
As that of the interlude of a music piece
And suddenly the curtain is drawn in twain
The dawn of a new thing the moment of recovery has come

The pain of yester years of yester-night
Pain has come and gone the night is far spent
Dawn has arrived and the moment of recovery
Has finally come everything is over
The moment of recovery

Every Day A Gift

Ask God not to let you squander this day
But that as you go through your day
Be aware of the gift it is to lived
At the end of the day before you go bed
Recount all the good things that happened
However small and say thank you for this day

We should count each day as a separate life
Each day is not a step on the way to a destination
It is the destination, we began to live the moment
When we recognize the great gift of being alive
One more day and choose not to squander that single day
Not to ruin it by living in the past or the future

First we must sure that we are living our life
Rather than simply planning our life
It we are not careful we find ourselves forever getting
Through things on our way to what we think will bring us happiness
Every day is a gift

We may find ourselves continually telling ourselves
That will be happy if or that we will be happy when
It is not that we should not plan or yarn for things
We have not yet achieved or experienced
But rather that happiness is always found when
We are able to live in the present moment

Two Things That We Want Most

As human we want to find happiness and to find meaning
Happiness is often thought of as a frivolous word
As in don’t worry, be happy meaning blissfully unaware
We may think of happiness as a temporary state of feeling good
Brought on by pleasure such as good food and sex

By finding happiness
I mean every human being wants
To experience joy and a deep sense contentment
We want to know that we have lived fully
And experience what it means to be a human being

Happiness is about the moments of our lives
Meaning is about our sense of connection
Perhaps it we were not mortals
Happiness would be enough
Causes us to want to be connected
To know that it matters that we were here

Many of us stumble
Through the journey of living
Learning as we go eventually
Discovering what matters

Often we discover wisdom when we are old
When most of our life is behind us
When it is too late to act on what we have learned
What if we could discover the secret of a happy & meaningful life before we are old?

I do not believe we have to wait
Until we are old to become wise
It seems to me that the secrets of life are all around us
Witnessed in the lives of others, those who
Have found that we seek

Following Our Hearts Requires Courage

Following our hearts
May involve quieting other voices
That may want is to follow their dream
Being true to ourselves often involves
Hearing the one voice that call us even if others cannot hear it

Ron, who was in his seventies
Had grown up in a family in which medicine
Was the profession of choice
His uncle had been respected physician in the community
And when Ron decided to go into medicine family and friends applaud his decision

Just before he was about to enter medical school
He want to see a gifted chiropractor as a patient
During treatment, he became acquainted with a discipline
That believed in the power of the body to heal itself
It affirm the value of touch which he intuitively found appealing

There are two keys to following your heart
Having the discipline to listen and the courage to follow
Ron, the man who chose to become a chiropractor
Put it this way you have to follow your heart, because to deny that
Is to deny everything

Of course you will make mistakes
You will miss the mark, but
If you keep current with yourself
You move closer and closer to who you came here to be

Perhaps been true to ourselves is not just about work
Or family, or whether we have children or where we live
It is about whether the images and moments of our life
Feel true to us

When you are dying
Your whole life passes before your eyes
What I found is that it’s not your whole life
But images of your life that you see
If you feel good about those images you see
You will not be afraid to die

Now to you imagine the moment
That would pass before your consciousness
What would you regret of?
What would you wish to find among those images that are not there yet?
One of the things we must do to be authentic is to have
The discipline to really listen to our heart
