As the year draws to a close
Companies are preparing to call it to a close
With religious houses are not left out
Individuals are preparing so earnestly
To welcome in the New Year
All are taking in stock of what the year has been

To some fruitful to others the opposite
Inspite of it all we are all alive
To say farewell to 2009
Calling it a day with 2009
With our minds cast back to wonder
How it has all been.

Marking out new strategy
For the coming year
Watching at the mistakes of the year gone by
To avoid the same thing from happening
Written down the vision for New Year
A new resolution is made with commitment
To carry it lout to the letter
Almost gone to return no more
Farewell to 2009.

Many started not all that ended it
I pray that the new year
