A powerless nation epileptic power supply
A furless nation shortage of fuel supply
A nation void of credible election rigging
Sick education system unrest in all spheres
What nation is ours, we seek for a nation?

Everyday we wake up site on a round table
Discussing a fruitless and unyielding forum
As everyday comes and go yet the nation remains the same
The anti-confab conferences the ill reforms
Just another way to lute public funds

Administrations come and go yet
Our roads is still the same old shape
Our educational systems are backward
Our health programs hospitals lack of good medical equipment
Our power supply goes from worse to worsen it former state
Re-branding and branding Nigeria
We are tired of these old tricks we look for a nation

Yet we are not there after so many years
Of attaining independent turning to a republic
Democracy came into being on that faithful day
May 29th 1999 has the dividend of democracy reflects
On the nation as a whole or to some selfish seeking
Group of individual paddy, paddy government

What can we do ‘cos
We need a change the way forward
We cannot site down and look things
Go from bad to worse turning into a biggggggggg problem
Unresolved waiting for the coming generations
To solve why don’t we repair the licking roof
For our generation (unborn and born children)
Before we go, why?

We look for a nation, not just a nation
But a nation…
Free from fraudulent act
Free from poor educational system
Free from corruption from all quarters
Free from ill reforms
Free from corrupt leaders and citizens
Free from any manner of evil act
One can think of a nation where God is highly esteem above man and beast
