Then
ought to pray and not to faint
Men
ought to pray
When
clouds gather and rain descends in torrent
When
birds have hushed their songs
And
flowers no longer boom
On
the heart and all is wrong with the world
When
it seems God has forgotten to be gracious
When
souls seem bleak and barren
Men
ought to pray
When the flour win is empty
When
the house rent is past due
And
there is no money to meet the pressing wills
When
the job is gone and there and there is no other in sight
When
health and hope is gone
And
friends are gone and money is gone
And
everything is gone for God is not gone
He
is ever near… he never changes
It
does not matter when we pray, but what we pray.
Is
time to pray for God to watches for us
Is
time we need God’s help in time of need
The
world is dark and the days are getting frighten
Is
time for all the children of God to pray
Think
of what a meager hour
Spent
in prayer everyday would yield
