There’s a sound resounding

In a faraway distance land

O’er hills over mountains

So loud that you can hear it

In search of a voice

Voice for tomorrow

That will emancipate liberate the wounded

In every corner of the street

There’s a reawaken of such voices

Somewhere by someone

A voice that searches to heard

Irrespective of the present circumstances

To forge ahead to bear the touch, yes the touch

The touch of an awaken generation to emerge

From a distance to transcend a change

Worthy of a life time to leave a footprint

On the sands of time for time and eternity

In search of a voice

That will carry the mark of true resemblance

Of an emancipated state a change

From the norms wanting to breakout

In breaking forth to emerge victorious

In all spheres of dealings from none to something

Am speaking for that one who’s got what it takes

To be the voice of tomorrow

For someone whose ready to move out from the slum

And becomes someone that will speak and drive for change

We can be that voice in our little corners
