Get the Lamp Ready

Soon it will all be said and done

And life will float away in loom some high way

Life flitting away and everything that matters

Matters no more anymore nothing been news worth

For the Son of the King is about to return

Signs of the time are every where

Subtlety the hour glass moves on

It moves far as fast that you never realise

Because the god of this world has blind folded many

Away from the world’s festivity

The prophet has said it and preached it

All over the world is rushing on fast

With so much that the one waiting the lamp

Is been carried away in the busy-ness of the day

Get the lamp ready

Make sure you have enough oil

The oil of righteousness and holiness

That will shine till the mid night time

Yea the mid night cry when the lamp will appear

For His bride the church to take her home

So get the lamp ready

Filled it with so much oil

Not that kind of oil that runs your car

Not the one that burns your lamp in your house when power is not available

But the oil that will make you rapturable at the close of the day

The lamp is you

Wait first ask yourself this question

Are you living right should you die tonight

Is it well with your soul?

Getting the lamp ready

Is your lamp ready?

Are you ready for the judgement day?         

If Christ comes now are ready to go with Him

Careless soul how will it be then

Is better you call a solemn assembly of your soul, body and spirit

Because tomorrow may mean goodbye

Will never know when or how

God calls us away when life seems so gloom

Our body is laid to dust

Get the lamp ready...the bridegroom return
