As babies, we come into this world
Not knowing what lies ahead
Facing the unknown
We must have blind faith
In our parent to nourish
Clothe, and protect us
Later we recognize faith
In parent and teachers to guide us
To that point we have enough
Faith in ourselves no stand alone
Yet everyday we are still
Facing the unknown something new
Something we cannot predict with certainty
From the moment onward
We face the unknown
Of a truth we know the sun
Will rise tomorrow and the day next
But things out of the solar not at all
