A Forgotten Dream

You were busy in chase of what is not
Long after you were here and you existed
Chasing what you shouldn’t chase
In search of nothing but empty like a fiddle
Lost with the wind chasing the wing

Beating against the air
In search of uncommon purpose
You long existed in someone’s dream
A dreamless being in another person world
A forgotten dream not to remember who you are

Long on the road called life
On a long distant place fading and faking out
You chicken out when life is hard to come by
You left the wind and wondered away into the desert
Far from home far from your purpose

A forgotten dream
You allow the society and its dedicates
To chase away the dream you have for you
All suck out and sick it all out in the shadow of fathoming
A gotten dream

Hmmm see such a one without destination in mind
Without a bearing lost like a compass of a ship
You dashed out and crashed out of the dream
In making of the dream you never weathered the storm
You lost the dream on a table of forgetfulness of who you are

Alas you remember but you were long chasing
What you shouldn’t have been chasing
Just an empty shadow in the wind of timeless venture
You lost it all zoom off ‘to nothing but emptiness wasted opportunity
All lost because of a dream was forgotten chasing society
