The Church Becoming A Campaign Ground

It marvels me so much as churches

Has turn her gate to the gate of campaign

For the so called politics of this world

Instead of been a gate of salvation and praise

Saving lost soul giving praises to God

Now we see the exact opposite of that

As politician has seen a go strategies

In reaching out to people to get mandate from them

Going to religious houses all in the name

Of projecting to the outside world

Their comment to God the maker

In form of deceptive visit to all these ones

In a bid to get a bid for such worshipers

In the so called religious houses they visit

To drop their thump for them on that paper

They quote scriptures to back their ambition

Give donation and even go further to commission a project

Upon entering office they execute it or better still execute

The church refuse to tell them the whole truth

If you are going to have a clean nation free from all these

Shaded practices it must start from the so church

This the time our religious houses with its leaders

Churches, mosques and religious gathering

To stand and defend their flocks

From been use by these so called politicians

In achieving their aims political ambition

The church is sacred place

Set aside for the things of God

In preparing people for heaven

Not a political campaign ground
