THE ANCHOR HOLDS

Life is full of ups and down

And everywhere is so choked up

Everyone is facing challenges of all kinds

Some breaking down of mind and soul

Yet the anchor holds

When life is full of disappointment

And the shattered dreams of your life

Makes you question why

Why this isn’t working out well

And it seems it wants to rain

You journey through life

Through the dark night

Out on the open seas of life

Just by faith alone site unknown

The anchor holds

Even when the storms comes crashing down

Even when hope become so slim and is gone with the wind

Even when family and friends are gone with no one to trust

Even when loneliness becomes your acquaintance

The anchor holds

 You are never beyond the reach of God

His eyes watches you even in the midst of stormy

Through the night and through the storm

Come what may everything will be alright
