There comes a time when silence
Becomes a big blow of betraying
When betraying has reach its peak
There comes a sober moment
Filled with so much thought leading to some questions

How has life been with us as a nation or statehood?
Are we really what they call us “the Giant of Africa”?
Or we’re just merely grasshoppers in the eyes of the world
What has become the dream of our hero’s past?
Their toils, labours and dream of this great nation

We’ve come thus far from the golden jubilee
We race from 50+ down to becoming 59
Yes! @59 how far, how well have we come thus far?
Its been a night and decades of prolong silence
In chase of emancipation from all that troubleth her as a nation

Has her leaders been able to deliver?
The thought of the hero’s past upon getting independence
Are we truly sincerely free from all what we suffered from?
The hands and chains of the colonial masters coupled with the slave masters
Who caught us as captive along the Badagry sea shores of this great nation

Are we living or merely existing?
How long ago did we pass bills
For the betterment of life of a common man on the street
How far our education system? What of the health sector? How far
Few human so selfish looting the country treasury

For us to move this country forward
And achieve the dreams of our founding fathers and mothers
It is all in our hands yes! The leaders have failed…corruption surrounds us
@59 if we continue to go on this road I tell you things will fall apart
@59 If we don’t define what we want we lose it all but we need to fix it.

HOW? 
By working hand in hand to rebuild a better country not just for us,  but for the generations to come.

MJ’s MAN IN THE MIRROR

I wonder what was on his mind

When he pen down the lyrics

I took my mind on a long distance journey

To discover what would have lead him to write

He took his time and write is mind of mind out

Then in the lyrics of the song

The answer for the quest of reason behind the song suffice

I saw what MJ saw so many things happens

Among the human race where he dwells

Lots of things needed to be change

And I see he wanted a whole lot of things

To be done and seek help needed

So he thought to lend a helping hand 

To make such a world a better place

By talking to the man in the mirror

This is him, himself

Because MJ knows for change to start

It begins with him first before he can reach out

To is outside world in attaining his desired goal

Of healing the world to make the world a better place for all

Of which MJ did

Heb gave the world the best

You can see this in his music

You can see this in his charity work

He brought many smile on so many face

The man in the mirror

Was him and he did all what did for change

You can be that man in the mirror

Bringing change in this space called earth

Man in the mirror

That man is you

If you seek the change you deserve here

GOD WILL MAKE A WAY

Tough times don’t diminish God’s presence

No matter how hard the tough time will face

It doesn’t diminish us but strength us

Because is always there to make a way for us

Is for us, with us and will always go with us all the way

God will make a way in the desert

Rivers in the desert

God walking in a way where you cannot see

Even in the way that seem hopeless situation

If you feel God has forgotten you

But i want to tell you that God inscribe you

In the palm of His hands

He walks in ways you cannot see

Even though you are blinded by your tears

Friends are gone family are nowhere to be found

Remember when you pass through

The water He will be with you

When you pass through the water it won’t over flow you

Of a truth God will surely make a way

Through that dishearten moment of yours God will make away

God is in control in our everyday experience

Stand and say with the three Hebrew children

That God is strong enough to save you

Through it all by road in wilderness He leads me

Heaven and earth will fail but His Word will remain...God will make away

A FIGHT TO WIN

A fight to fight

A conquest we must reach to win

A bridge to be burn after crossing

Courage to have to win against discouragement

A fight of life to win

A fight to fight through

In the midst of life troubles

When all hope is gone and lost away

Lost in sight even when faith is gone with the wind

A fight to win

When life wants you to doubt your doubt

And wanting you to throw in the towel

With hands raised up high in surrenderedness

Losing it all in the midst of troubles

A fight to win when the ship of your life is lost in voyage

You have a faceoff with the wind

You fought the last fight to last mile of the way

You reachout your hand yet the fight ensure and enlist

You stand when your feet is so weak to carry your body

A fight to win even in the midst of unseemly impossible situation

A fight to stay alive by all means by all cost

A fight to overcome life’s challenges

A fight to wake up each morning leaving the bed

A fight to stay awake through the midnight cry

A fight for life to win at all cost

Just as your depends on it

Of which is true it all depends on you

You fight through to the last breathe

A fight to change the status quo that has been 

A fight to win

…A WORD FOR THE TERM

As the new academic calendar begins come September

As pupils get ready to return back to classroom
As teacher buckled up to take on teaching lessons
As we all get ready to get back to the class
So much is expected from both pupils, teachers and management

…For our pupils
Now is the best time to seat back and take review
Of the last academic session that just ends months back
How is it? 

Did you achieve all your goals in all subjects in the last term?
How about it, can you say you did well

…For teachers
How was your performance?
In discharging your duties to these ones
Remember the pupils are kept in your care
Of which you will give account at the close of day

For Management
How far do you go to create
A conducive atmosphere for learning and working condition
Did you say you perform up to the best in the last term?
How about that your responsibility towards your staffs and pupils

This term pupils, teachers and management of schools
Make sure you do your best in all ramifications
Will all should never look back to the last term success
Because if you do you cannot achieve something worth while
I challenge you this term to do more

We can no longer afford to define that vision

Building Epcots and Golden Arches pales into significance

To anticipate and avoid the ambushes

To stay in, to stay close, to stay away and to stay alert

To stay in scripture, to stay close to a friend

To stay away from other women and to stay alert from tempters

It takes vision yes to do all these

It takes vision to see the benefit of making yourself

Accountable and teachable

To be willing to go through the miserable

Gut-wrenching dry heaves of genuine repentance

That will put you back on course 

It takes vision not to finish poorly

It takes vision not to finish so – so

It takes a vision to finish strong

Your wife will love you for it

Your kids some years down the line we be glad for a dad like you

Vision will enable you to keep your daily focus

Vision will enable you to be faithful each day

Vision will enable you to fix your eyes on Jesus

Vision will enable chase your dream even in the snow
