To chase what God did not send
We see it with the eyes of men
Chase it with the weapons of flesh
But not what God wants for us
You’re lost at the cross road
At the road of life you don’t know where to go
From shore to shore you ran
Wondering from where you are
Chasing shadow losing sight of the faith in Him
You may not know the future
You may not know where the future is going
But God knows the future before you were born
He is so sure to lead us to the future
Because He lives with Him we cannot face the future alone
Even in the midst of the mist of the journey
He shows us when we don’t even know
He took us as a father leading us as a child
He walks with us, before us and always there for us
Even in the uncharted territory of life
At the crossroad He gave us faith for the journey
At the our lowest state He showed up for us
At a period when it seems all is lost His grace finds us
At that time when the world walks out on us He walks in
Leading us through the uncharted territory of life
No matter how tough the journey is
Because tough times will come
That we shook and question our faith
And left us to question our conviction what we believe
Taking us off from that part to the uncharted territory
