CHALLENGE YOUR CHALLENGES

Do what you can
With what you have
Where you are

Does the word challenge
Give you a queasy feeling
In the pit of your stomach
Does the adrenalin start to flow
Do combined emotions of fear
And uncertainty start to pulse through your veins

Challenges comes in all shapes and sizes
Your age, your nationality, where you live
Whether you’re married or single
Whether you’re the most admired or least admired
None of these matter challenges are part of life

Maybe your life has been one challenges after another
For as long as you can remember
Or you could be one of the fortunate few
For whom life seems to roll along with hardly a bump in the road
But then out of nowhere disaster hits and your world crumbles

You loose your job and don’t know
How you are going to pay your rent or mortgage
You may have lost a loved one
Faced illness, gone through divorce
Cared for elderly parents or dealt with rebellious children

Perhaps you feel overwhelmed and pulled
In so many directions that your relationships
Health and work are suffering big time
Maybe you face increasing pressure
To perform on the job company budget and goals

How do we respond to the challenges in our lives
Many times our first instinct is to run away
Wait remember …Just because challenges come
They don’t have to overcome

No one succeeds in the face of difficulties
By lying down and giving up
We’ve got to respond to challenges
With our strongest efforts
