The world is filled with darkness
Darkness of hate and unfair treatment
Glooms here and there at every turn
That we don’t know whom to trust again
In the hours of darkness

Be light while the darkness prevail
Be a source of joy to the one
Whose in pain brighten the corner where you are
No matter little it maybe be the light

Let its flame burn brighter
Never let your light go dim
Be the hero where others
Are playing the sheep
Reach out the candle

Take it hold it up high
Just take the candle go light your world
