AFTERMATH OF ENDSARS: PICKING THE PIECES

On that day we march in one  accord
In an unifying voice that defile all odds
We stood to define a course that we trend
For as long as our voice is heard
In a far distance as its re-echoes

Down the history memory lane
Of generations unborn
We soil our hand and come to equity
In fighting for a worthy course
In a non violence protest

For humanity
For country
For the one whose been maltreated
Butchered on the sword of injustice
Many months and days has come and gone

Yet and yet the memory lives on
Never lingers in our mind
But we have this memory live with us
Like a life and breathing we see everyday
Of the aftermath of a peaceful protest

That was hacked by hoodlums
Sent by the one who seat up high there
In the affairs of power and authority
Creating a scene that wasn't in the picture
The aftermath of ENDSARS

From the shout of the youths
To the calmness that
Characterized the march
As we chant, shout and sing in unisim
Just to voice out
The menace of the men in black

And yet we still move on
We stood today as many months has gone
Today marks one year
The youth make a plea
For a better police treatment and reforms

For the soul of those
Who have sold out their blood
For the betterment of this nation
Your labour shall not
And we never be invain
Aftermath of ENDSARS: Picking the pieces.

...END NOTE.
NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT AGAIN
IT WILL TAKE LONG IS NOT GONNA
BE A SPRINT BUT IT WILL BE A MARATHON
BUT I NO WITHOUT NO SHADOW OF DOUBT
WE GET THERE.
