LOST THROUGH A LONG ETERNITY

The world will not continue to be this way
With its activities and deeds
With so much to offer but it won't last
Is just for a moment which is like a vapour
Lost through a long eternity
 
The fashion and festivities
With the clamouring for this and that
And chase after what the body we eat
The fame and familiarity
Will not matter beyond these world
 
When the owner of your life returns
And an account will be prepared
Are ready for the day of reckoning
When you get to meet the Marker
And we walk side by side with Him
 
Eternity is a long journey
So endless work too long to be toyed with
Lost through a long eternity
Won't be funny at all
It we catch unaware like a thief in the night
 
Death can visit anytime
With prior notice
When you open your eyes in hell
Then you realise you been
Lost through a long eternity
 
Lost without God
Lost without having salvation
Lost without hope of eternity with God
Lost without the fruit of sanctification
Then you are lost unprepared
 
Through a long, long eternity.
The choice is yours
The Holy Scripture and God said
Have place before you two option
Life and death then He admonishes us
 
To choose life that we might live forever
You cannot be lost through a long eternity
But the choice is yours.
