A FAILED EDUCATION

Until we realize that we are at
The verge of collapse as a nation
That's when we be in the known
Of the pitiable state will found
Our educational system in this country
 
You cast deaf ears to the plea
To revamp our failed education system today
Be ready to face its music it we play tomorrow
As this ones who are the leaders of tomorrow
Has lost  the zeal and passion to study
 
All because of some set of bodies
Fails to reach conclusion in burying the hatchet
Of long term agreement meant out
By long past administration that led
To the failed state of our education system
Our kids are now roaming the street
 
Of their cities due to the none charlent attitude
Of so called leaders who stair the wheels
Of this great sector in our country education
To what ends is education
When is out to liberate the mind
 
But it has been turn the other way round
The caging of the mind with prolong
Incessant strike in a bid to make government
Dance to the tune of their demands
For how long shall we strive on this
 
Worthy course that refuse to yields
Fruitful result but am not sure it we
As truth is murdered right in our own very eyes
Failed education
We've lost the zeal to study
 
As study becomes so ever boring
Our lecture theater are void of learning activities
As lecturers are under paid this lead
To extorting students with exorbitant sells of handout
Yet the less concern-ness of government
 
As years of the student are been wasted
No one seems to bothered about the plight
Of our educational system as its standards
Keeps falling every seconds of the day.
